Where shall I begin. We arrived late Saturday night. The woman in the reception greeted us and showed us our room. We had to pay 35€ extra for air condition. Ok, fine but it's 2024 not 1979. On top of that the whole plastic thing that changes direction of the airflow was missing so the cold air blew us straight in the face in bed, resulting in that we couldn't use it during the night. After a few hours we woke up and couldn't breathe. Had to sit awake for 30 min for the room to cool down and then go back to sleep. I asked if they could do anything about it and the answer I got was that they ordered parts from Iraq and that it was gonna arrive 2 days later. After our whole stay it was still not fixed. I guess she says that to all guests that get room 307:/
After settling in in our room (we are 3 persons) we got ready to go to bed. The third bed that our son, 17 years old were gonna sleep in was terrible. It would be more comfortable sleeping in the bathtub. We had spiders living under our 3 chairs that had laid eggs. We asked them to clean them but they just took away the sprider web and all disgusting eggs and spiders were still there. The cleaning maids barely said anything back when we met them and said hello.
The first morning we ran out of the only roll of toilet paper in our toilet. I went to the reception to ask for another one. The woman just gave me a look, didn't say a thing and put the roll on the counter. Lovely lady(Not).
The Hotel and the surroundings looks quite ok but it's quite dirty on the ground around the pool and there is absolutely no chance to get some shade in the sunbeds around the pool. There are some umbrellas but they are way too small. There is a lawn with some trees that can give you shade but its not much.
We payed 40€ extra to get a room on our last day after checkout. The Lovely lady at the reception told me we could have the room until 8pm. Perfect, then we won't have to stress after being at the pool during the day. Get a nice shower and go out for a bite before the bus picked us up. But no. In The middle of our restaurant visit a few blocks away from the Hotel the lovely lady calls my wife and wonders where we are because the room is supposed to be returned at 6pm. Wtf, I grab the phone and tell her she said 8pm not 6. She doesn't budge. It was 6pm she says. I get furious and just hang up the phone and go back to the hotel.
When I come to return the key she pretends to be busy on the phone. I slam the keys on the counter and just went out.
We will NEVER visit this hotel again. It was one of the worst stays we have ever had. And I don't recommend anyone to give these...
Read moreMy husband and I spent two weeks at Lito Beach in the second half of August and really enjoyed the experience. The hotel has an excellent quiet location just past the two large Tui complex hotels in Gerani. You will find yourself in a well-kept garden with beautiful flowers and just before you get to the beach there is the small pool and a nice restaurang. You can choose between staying by the pool, going to the beach - or as we did, resting in the sun under the pine trees between pool and beach. ||The hotel has a nice restaurang with a great selection of both lunch choices and more traditional Greek flavours. Nice for evening visits as well!||This is an apartment living and we fixed breakfast and some others meals as well, which is possible as there are several shops in the vicinty, inkl a Coop 500 metres away as well as a Lidl, some 1500 metres in the direction of Platanias. We rented bicycles and biked to Malame and Agia Marina. ||We rented a car which took us over the mountains to Elafonissi and Falassarna. Wrong day to do it, however, as it turned out to be a national day and both beaches were packed with people,||The main advantage at Lito Beach is the nice and friendly atmoshere, from everyone in the reception, to the cleaner and the staff in the bar. With the combination of friendly service and a great location, we will definitely try to come back. ||In the reception there are a number of "left-over" books to borrow. Great when the old...

+++ PLUS Proximity to an almost wild beach, wonderful. You can even see many stars at night as not many properties nearby. The garden with sunbeds is really nice (minus the cicades strong noise). But you can enjoy the garden without being at this hotel, as a customer of the restaurant. Hotel's inner courtyard looks nice.
--- CONS We stayed for 9 nights. Many problems with the rooms. We had booked a "studio with garden view", but received a small double near the noisy reception. So 2 days later later they moved us to the AWFUL room from Inferno, 322. AVOID! Ultra hot inside all day (air conditioning could not help), with hundreds of ants visiting each day, broken toilet and broken fridge (leaking water inside all night). We couldn't sleep with balcony door open, as there are many little lizzards on hotel walls at night, hunting insects. Because we had to extend the stay with 1 day, they offered another room (an apt.), which had an entire family of lizzards inside (we did not see them during daytime). Had to hunt lizzards all night, to try getting them out. Horrible!!! We tried calming ourselves these days with the nice garden & pool, but caught 2 Sundays - on Sundays it gets filled with loud greek families, screaming and playing football near the sunbeds...a horror show.
