It takes a lot for me to leave a review like this, but I feel like folks should know. My family and I dined here a week ago. We came in an hour before closing and the restaurant was bustling and full. We placed our order and was warned the drinks might take a little while, fair enough. We ordered food for the kids right away because they were hungry and cranky, and then ordered food for the adults a few minutes later. Fast forward 45 minutes, the kid’s bolognese finally came out with apologies from the kitchen. Finally, after much prompting and an hour and a half after we were seated 3/4 of our food came out. We then waited another 20 minutes for the last plate to come out, which I ate while everyone else watched me. The restaurant was empty by this point.
All of that could be chalked up to low staffing, busy night, etc. All excusable. What isn’t excusable is a few minutes before our food came out we witnessed one of the servers yell agitatedly towards the kitchen, then rush back to the mostly open kitchen, yell more in an argument with someone else, and then get open handed slapped by another worker in the kitchen. It frightened us and our children.
On top of all of that, the food was the worst that we had in our...
Read moreWe stayed at the Proimos Apartments hotel on the same property for a week in July 2023 and we quickly realized that the Proimos Restaurant had AMAZING food and drinks, so we ate most of our lunches and dinners here. We also enjoyed the 8x25 meter pool next to the restaurant during the days.
I'll adding a lot of photos of the various dishes we tried and the nice atmosphere from the plants in the restaurant. The drinks got fresh herbs from there, very nice taste!
The food is very nice presented and well seasoned so it tasted really good. Prices were really good, see the attached menu for 2023, and the staff was really friendly and helpful!
We even got help to bring a Greek Salad for our flight home, which was a thousand times tastier than any airline food!
I would love to go back and eat again, maybe the opportunity will come...
Read moreWe didn't pay to eat at a Michelin restaurant, so we didn't expect it either. But what met us was certainly worthy of a Michelin star. A friendly and welcoming staff who looked after us like their own family. No fussy or slow waiters. A menu that could have contained a few more dinner dishes, but the food tasted really good. The atmosphere was calm, romantic and relaxing. We wanted peace and quiet, and we got it. The prices were more reasonable than the vast majority of nearby restaurants. Cocktail was well made, especially the Appletine and Pina Colada. Remember to ask for the watermelon drink. Amazing. If there is anything to improve, it is if you manage to get rid of some of the cats that sneak into the area. Guests may have allergies. We were there for 14 days and ate almost all meals in the restaurant. We will...
