Evita Alegria Hotel — Hotel in Municipality of Rhodes

We had a wonderful week from 30/8/25 - 6/9/2025. This hotel is a little gem. Small and quiet B&B. Music around pool but not loud and rowdy. Staff are lovely, everyone around pool friendly and chatty. |Pool only chest deep but was a lovely dip to cool off and perfect for airbeds and fun blow up inflatables to help cool off in the heat. |Food at pool bar was excellent and reasonably priced as were drinks. |Breakfast was a supply of continental food plus eggs bacon etc to order.||We usually go 4 star plus all inclusive and decided to try this for a change. We had a wonderful holiday and would definitely book again. Hotel rooms were clean and bedding changed twice per week. Shower was a bit on the small side but functional. |Perfect location. Ten minute stroll to Faliraki strip with lots of restaurants and pubs. Bus stop outside hotel had regular local buses to Rhodes old town for 2.5 euros. ||For those reviews that mention lack of coffee making facilities - you can hire a kettle from reception and as it is a B&B you should take your own tea and coffee.|You can hire a safety deposit box and pool towels also. |The clothes rail only has a few hangers so take extras if you wish. But there is lots of bench space for folding clothes etc ||We honestly had a lovely week for a very reasonable price. |And it made a lovely change to the expensive all inclusive that quite frankly are repetitive in the food and quality has deteriorated over the last few years|We had some amazing meals in Faliraki and Rhodes old town especially the Deep fried feta in filo pastry & honey and sesame sauce. |Definitely would go B&B again. A real nice welcoming from the staff , very clean hotel and rooms are cleaned very frequently with fresh sheets etc ..|Under the beds have not been cleaned tho as there’s ear buds and sticky pop marks and dust bunny’s ..|The pool is small but clean ..the sun bed situation is awful tho as there is just not enough .. those with sun beds and swimming ups to the pool from there room are using the sun loungers round the pool with very limited space for us with no facilities like this is annoying disrespectful as at only 30 beds available there isn’t enough for those people to be hogging spaces but yet seem to be allowed to .. you will be lucky to find a spot to sit & sunbathe at all .. |there is space to renovate the front and put a second pool and sun beds but just a grass patch .. there is space to do a two tier sun lounger row around the back |But just plants … the sun doesn’t face the pool in the afternoon so it’s bad placement and planning of pool location..|Over all it’s ok but don’t expect too much at all not even the basic of somewhere to sit and relax when we paid a lot of money .there is no evening life at hotel like other hotels surrounding we can hear music laughing bar is bursting .. here there is nothing it’s just so lifeless you end up going out each evening.. not looking to party at all just a bit of a lively atmosphere to have a drink and relax .. |it’s just a base camp for us and have to go out to sunbathe each day else where and same in evening to have an authentic atmosphere which feels fun and with a bit of a...

We arrived in the early hours of the morning and was concerned that there was no-one to check us in, but someone came directly out to greet us. Nice touch. We were on the top floor, there is no lift, but not a great problem for us, because our cases were not really heavy.||The room was spacious enough for a family of three and the balcony was super spacious. ||There is two rooms, the living quarters and the bathroom which were clean. Enough space to hang our clothes for two people. However, not fully for three people. That did not cause an issue my girls preferred to leave their clothes in their suitcases.||The pool was great for me, and not too packed. Others got in at the right times, so not too crowded. The only thing others may complain about would be that we had to vacate the pool at 7pm for cleaning.||The food was good here, and they gave you a lot especially for white wine. Thanks chef for the delicious Shrimp tomato sauce pasta. I am still raving about it.||The staff are a great small team, that work well together and are super friendly. I was taken back that they went over and beyond to help get my daughter’s headphones back when she left this in a taxi on the way back from Rhodes. Thank you so so much.||The only negative is that we had to ask for clean towels and change of sheets after three days, but I do understand that there is only two of you that cleans.||Overall a good stay, the sunrise in the mornings from the top floor is priceless. ...
