What a brilliant little gem of a hotel. Booked as a last minute "get-away" for a week to unwind. Wasn't expecting much. Wow was we wrong. Less than 10mins transfer from the airport but no noise from aircraft at all. Located on the outskirts of the village, which is a five minute stroll up the road. Several restaurants along and in the village, as well as a few bars. At time of our visit, June, everywhere was quiet. Rooms are spacious and very clean. As with lots of Greek hotels, hot water is provided via Solar tanks on the roof. Can be an issue late at night if places are busy, but we never had any problems. Breakfast has several choices, although the "Full English" has several key ingredients missing, but all food is very tasty, presented with a very cheerful "hurray Mike is here". You can have lunch from a menu, plenty of choices, very reasonably priced. Evening meal can be ordered at breakfast, three courses, two options for starter and main which change daily, €10 per person. These are basic meals, tasty, but don't expect too much. The restaurants close by offer lots of selection and are all very reasonably priced. The hotel has a substantial sized pool, with a small one for children, and a hydro therapy plunge pool. George can arrange hire vehicles for you, from pedal bikes, mopeds, quads to cars. You spy the hire company when they arrive and prices are same as in hire companies website. Most nights have some form of entertainment, Quiz Night, Karaoke, Disco Night and I'm sure they mentioned Bingo but thankfully I didn't witness that! Lots of excursions can be booked through the hotel, these are a little pricey, and if you have a hire car then mostly pointless. All in all a truly cracking place, wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone wanting a proper "get away" for peace and relaxation.

We ended up spending a night (and the next day) at the Garden Hotel after our flight was cancelled due to adverse weather. We were packed onto a coach at midnight and sent to the hotel with a coach full of people, it was a highly stressful situation and that stress completely melted away the second we got to the property. George and his staff were incredible, so welcoming, kind, and happy to assist us with anything we needed. We were checked in super quickly which was very welcome after the days events. When we woke up in the morning, I could hardly believe the scenes. The grounds are simply stunning, the hotel is quaint, charming and you can tell that love is poured into every aspect. My partner and I walked the gardens, we were welcomed in by one of the staff who encouraged us to look around. The hotel is also home to chickens that roam around the olive and citrus trees, rabbits! Goats and a tortoise. Upon leaving that area we were handed fresh oranges from the trees which we ate whilst swinging on a little bench by the pool, it was idyllic. Breakfast and lunch were delicious! The eggs and the feta especially! The staff were all so kind, and honestly we were so grateful to their hospitality. The hotel is beautifully well kept, clean and honestly? I would much sooner return here than the 5 Star we actually holidayed at! We will be back! Thank you so much to George & team for your amazing hospitality, we will see you soon xx

We stayed for 10 days and I have to say that the hotel was fantastic. Number 1: the staff is so welcoming and friendly that I never ever experienced such a thing in another hotel before. You feel at home, they always have a smile for you from the morning until late night. Number 2. The room was gorgeous. We didn't pay for the air conditioner but we had 2 fans and it was absolutely alright. We had 2 bedrooms and 2 balconies, a small kitchen...what more could we have asked for? Number 3. Food was very basic and there weren't many options. We weren't particularly happy about it. On our last day there was "chicken alla cacciatora" and I must say it was delicious! If you have allergies or intolerances to some food you might need to contact them about it. The place is very very very peaceful. There is a small shop inside the hotel with the splendid Maria where you can get wherever you need and a lovely restaurant just around the corner. The hotel was very clean and they changed the bedsheet everyday.

Stayed September 2025, Half Board, Room 33 for 7 nights. |Initially I wasn’t sure what to expect after reading mixed reviews on here.|Journey from the airport is quick and painless, literally 10 mins in a taxi.|Upon arrival we were greeted by George who checked us in, and I used this time to pay the tourist tax and air conditioning charge. Not a problem. He then helped us with our bags up to our room. |Couldn’t fault the room, big comfy bed, roomy balcony with provided ashtray for those that smoke, a full size fridge, loads of storage and hangars for clothes, and a fan for those that don’t want the air conditioning.|Wifi is limited to within the bar / lounge area, which wasn’t a problem for me. |Breakfast was more than adequate, and you have to choose your dinner options at breakfast for the following evening. Now I can honestly say that we ate here for dinner all 7 nights that we stayed, and we found the food and the options fantastic. The cheese pie was divine, and the onion soup was an absolute secret weapon!! |The lunch menu is chargeable, but not expensive and really good. I highly recommend the gyros or any of the burgers on the menu. Sensational! |The bar is very well stocked and there are lots of options to suit all tastes. |Didn’t use the sun-beds but there seemed to be plenty for all the guests that were staying at the hotel. |Maria who runs the little shop on site is fab too, she is very knowledgeable on the local area and is very helpful. |Entertainment at the hotel runs Monday-Friday, with there being bands, karaoke, bingo and quizzes and is very professionally done.|One thing I will say is how hard all of the staff here work to give their guests the best holiday experience here and it shows. Having seen it for myself, I fully understand why people come back year after year. |And the guests. Let me tell you this hotel has the best guests. I met so many amazing people from all walks of life and backgrounds, and it was fantastic spending time with them. |I won’t go into detail about the facilities in Pastida as I don’t feel it is relevant to this review. |The hotel is quite close to a military airbase so you do get the occasional low flying military helicopter. |The chickens can be noisy in the morning, and some guests mentioned road noise but i’m a heavy sleeper, I didn’t find it a problem.||If you want peace and quiet and good value for money, this absolutely is the hotel for you. ||So thank you George and team because we had the best holiday, and the best experiences and we can’t wait to see you...

Firstly the hotel is only 15 mins max from the airport.|The staff are excellent and can't do enough for you.|The place is really clean, the pool area has plenty of sunbeds and shade, there are some chickens in a large pen close to the shaded area around the pool so occationally you get a farm yard whiff.| As usuall the sunbeds are "reserved" by towels way too early in the morning, which is really annoying even though there are signs everywhere saying not to.Thats the good news...apart from the farm yard smell..|The hotel has a busy main road close to one side and a busy local village road which runs past the hotel entrance, this road is used by every boy/girl racer with a car or moped with a noisy exhaust ,this happens late into the night.|The breakfast consists of two types of cereal, toast, horrible coffee and tea, there is a fresh prepared menu , see photos. |At breakfast you have to choose what you want for dinner, a choice of two main items, which is shocking.|I was expecting cereals for breakfast but also fruit cold cuts of meat yoghurts breads etc, really a buffet etc etc.|Two choices for dinner is something I have never seen or heard of before and the choices meant that we eat out.|Talking of eating out, the choice of places to eat in the village which is about 15mins walk away is also limited to a couple.|Basically the location of this hotel is not near anything, no beach NO SHOPS, a couple of bars and thats it.|If you have children of any age there is absolutley nothing for them to do.|The rooms are basic but dated, aircon costs another 40 euros a week and the safe is 1 euro a day. The tv has two english language channels BBC world news and Euronews.|We took the bus one morning into Rhodes town 3 euros each took about an hour, however the bus back is not very often 8.30 bus in, 11.30, 15.15 then 20.00 back!!|In summary if you just want to get up have a poor breakfast then lounge around until your limited choice for dinner then sleep then repeat all your stay then this hotel is for you, however if you like a varied food choice the option to eat out at many resteraunts visit different bars and browse plenty of shops then this is definetly not for you.|I have read many reviews about this hotel saying people go back year after year and I really for the for this life of me...

Stumbled across this and booked 4 weeks before based on the Trip Advisor reviews which are amazing. ||We booked B&B and that was enough. Very basic food but fills a morning hole. Choice of breakfasts with the addition of toast, cake, cereal and the odd piece of fruit. ||Did not see the evening meal options but by what others said it was a take it or leave it affair which most left. ||The lunchtime snacks were cheap and cheerful. ||The hotel is very dated, the rooms are small but it is immaculately clean throughout. ||The surrounding village has a few really nice tavernas to eat at very reasonable prices for what you get and in less than a 10 minute walk away. ||There is a lovely bakery and a great little supermarket in the village too. ||The staff at the hotel are so friendly and really accommodating, nothing is too much trouble. Only went to the onsite shop once, lots of bits and the lady was lovely. ||If you’re looking for entertainment throughout the day and evening it’s not for you! ||The problem with this hotel is the repeat guests. |TAlk old and retired, they come and stay for months on end are a little on the hostile side to the 1 or 2 weekers or the first timers - it’s almost like they want to keep this place for themselves. . |The rule about not reserving sunbeds goes out of the window for them and they will set up the best beds with towels and pillows and not be seen until |Lunchtime. They are offered additional extras at breakfast that the newbies aren’t and are served drinks by the pool when none else is offered this. |It’s a lovely quiet place, if you laugh or talk in more than a whisper you are tutted at and glared at by them. |I’ve travelled extensively alone and with my family and partner but never have fellow travellers made me feel so uncomfortable. ||Would I come to the hotel again - yes. I’d give it one more chance hoping that it’s was just a one off but can|The staff need to get a handle on this before it gets to be a major problem for them and becomes a “time share”...
