Edited 29th August 2022: We have been back to Nama this summer to celebrate our wedding, renting all rooms for our closest friends and family from Sweden and England. Words can not describe the big hearts, welcoming and lovely people the Nama family is. It is not a given to find such warm openminded people, this hotel is lgbtqia+ friendly and welcomes and love all people. We love each and every one of you and talking to our wedding guests, everyone wants to come back again next season too. Jenny, your smiles and amazing breakfast and cheeky Sunday moussaka will be missed over the year until we're back again, Evgenious, your kind eyes and big heart is forever tied to us, Savvas, you are a star and your executive car company was our saviour during our whole trip, made us feel like vip guests the whole time! The other two ladies helping out with the bar and groundkeeper, room tidying etc, are absolutely amazing too. Such kind people. Giorgos, your drinks at the bar and amazing hospitality made us and our guests feel completely taken care of. We didn't see much of Dino and Kathy this year but we wish you all the best with your baby boy!! đ
Review from 2021: If we could give 10 stars we would. Evgenios, Jenny, Dino, Savas, Kathy and George and the lady who did housekeeping (sorry we didn't get her name) has all an amazing aura and a twinkle in their eye, and you can see they love their retreat and each guest so much.
We thought from reading the reviews prior to going that it was too good to be true, but we were blown away when getting there. You feel like part of the family and they provided such a lovely atmosphere and hospitality. They hugged us when we left and gave us gifts.
The pool is amazing, the hotel rooms are some of the most beautiful we've seen, Greek style but with a modern twist, everything perfectly planned out. It's surrounded by green hills and the cross of Filerimos on the hill. Absolutely stunning. ALSO THE cocktails Jenny made is a hidden talent of hers best on the island đ
The Breakfast was divine and the eggs were cooked a'la minute to each person's preference. We felt so relaxed and happy being there.
The town itself is super quiet but has some lovely restaurants and a super cool and modern cocktail bar too.
We loved Nama so much that we booked all 11 rooms for our wedding next year, can't wait to show our friends and family this incredible place. See you soon again Nama! Carli and...

If youâre looking for peace and quiet in a clean, well-maintained complex, you really canât go wrong here.||We stayed in one of the swim-up rooms, which was modern, spotless, and well-equipped for self-catering, with utensils, a microwave, fridge, and hob.||Breakfast was a wonderful way to start the day. I enjoyed scrambled eggs and bacon, followed by a generous basket of fresh bread, ham, cheese, Greek salad, yoghurt, juice, and milk. There was also a daily surprise lovingly prepared by Jennyâanything from cake or fresh fruit to a traditional Greek treat.||The pool area has plenty of sunbeds, especially as the shade gradually moves across the rooms. Thereâs also a bar open all day and into the evening, with very reasonable prices.||Pastida itself is a small, quiet town with a well-stocked supermarket and around six restaurants that we found. Skalakia served delicious, traditional Greek food, and Gefira Taverna was quieter but equally good. Massa Grande, offering Italian and Mexican dishes, served pizzas so large weâd recommend going for the smaller size unless youâre sharing with a group!||If I had to sum up Nama Retreat in just a few words, it would be: chilled, peaceful, beautifulârun by a truly lovely family who go out of their way to make your stay...
