We very spontaneously discovered this incredible accommodation in Charaki, absolutely the best one we have had so far in the island. It’s modern, fully equipped with everything possible you’d need, spacious (we loved the enormous bathroom and shower), and has a massive balcony with an outside shower that we grew to appreciate coming after beach. The beach is 20m away and there is a store right next to it. All restaurants, promenade, and village spotlights are just steps away. The host Chrysanthi is very nice and always available for whatever we needed - she really equipped the space with everything a couple would need including prosseco, sweets and water as welcome treats. When we are back to Rhodos, we will only stay here. A word about the village now that we managed to explore most of the island: it’s the most ideal spot boasting a lot of restaurants, touristy but calm vibe, and the best sea water one could imagine (because it’s a coast - it was rarely wavy and we loved the little rocks as it makes you less messy but you also have Agathi beach 2km away in case you want a proper sandy experience). We sincerely recommend this apartment for couples and individuals coming to Rhodes! Haraki is a tiny village that offers everything for a peaceful but also quality experience. The apartments are located close to the beach and restaurants, which of course has its advantages. The apartment has good soundproofing, which offers peace even at night (there is a bar nearby that is open until 03:00), the apartment is also air-conditioned. So we had a comfortable and peaceful night. The apartment is freshly renovated, nice and modern. The lovely owner Chrysanthi arranged everything at the best level, nothing is missing in the apartment, you can even find sunscreen and new toothbrushes there. Communication with Mrs. Chrysanthi was absolutely seamless. We felt like at home thanks to her hospitality and helpfulness! Die Lage in Strandnähe hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Der kleine Balkon von Zimmer 6 gibt eine Aussicht auf die Feraklos Burg und wird von der Morgensonnen wachgeküsst. Etwas Meeresblick ist auch dabei. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist für den gegeben einfachen Komfort und die vorhandene sehr praktikable Ausstattung gut, was einen Aufenthalt von bis zu zwei Nächten gut gestalten lässt. Der Strand muss hier jedoch als einziges Rückzugsgebiet zum Verweilen und Entspannen dienen.

Lärm, Komfort und Größe sind unsere negativen Kritikpunkte. Die einfachen Apartments von Frau Chariklia liegen direkt am zentralen kleinen Platz mit der Heilige Apostel Kirche von Charaki. Im Prinzip ist das der Hauptzugang zur autofreien Strandpromenade, den 60% aller Tagesbesucher benutzen. Früh morgens werden hier bereits mit LKWs einige Abholungen realisiert. Neben Müllabholung und Sickergrubenleerungen eben auch Warenanlieferungen. Nebenan ist das Cocktail und Dreams, das täglich - auch deutlich nach Mitternacht - für Beschallung sorgt. Die komplette Ausstattung des Zimmers ist sehr sehr einfach und veraltet und wir hatten mit Zimmer 6 eins der größeren Zimmer gebucht. Die Dusche ist quasi mit dem WC verbunden, was eine parallele Nutzung ausschließt. Es wird alles nass und der Boden steht unter Wasser. Allerdings läuft das Wasser sehr gut ab und der Boden trocknet schnell. Das größere Zimmer 6 im Obergeschoss war definitiv nicht wie angegeben 40 Quadratmeter groß, was Booking in Absprache mit Frau Chariklia ändern sollte. Ich habe 8 Jahre auf 30 Quadratmeter gelebt und weiß wovon ich spreche. Länger als zwei Nächte würde ich nicht empfehlen, da das sehr praktikable Zimmer weder eine zeitgemäße Optik noch gemütliche Ausstattung zum Verweilen anbietet. Neben dem Design, was definitiv für wenig Geld schöner geht, wurde auch leider nicht an die einfachen praktischen Dinge gedacht. Die Mini-Küche würde besser zu nutzen sein, wenn zB der Kühlschrank von rechts nach links öffnen würde. Aktuell zwängt man sich hinter die halbhohe Trennwand um den Kühlschrank zu nutzen.Die Trapp ins OG ist ziemlich steil und die Treppen sehr schmal. Keine Empfehlung somit für Menschen mit...
