We had an excellent lunch at Costas & Elena(nearby). Afterwards we decide to stay for 1 hr on the empty beach with our two small children. We just sat under an umbrella in front of the bar. After some minutes, someone from the bar came and told us that we have to pay 10 euros !!! if we want to seat there. I asked for a receipt and afterwards came the owner. I asked that at least they should give us some drinks if they want to charge us so much money for 1 hr on an empty beach ( it was April) The owner was very rude and impolite. He agreed to give us 3 doses of Fanta. Clearly a crook looking for some easy money. Avoid this place as they are scammers. Never have I seen such behaviour in 30+ years of...

The mussels were quite good, but all the other dishes, especially the shrimp, had a mediocre taste and were served in very small portions. The seabass arrived undercooked, and when we asked for it to be properly cooked, it was simply heated in the microwave—so much so that even the lemon on the plate was hot. The waiter even insisted that the fish was cooked, although it was clearly raw inside. I expected at least a small apology, like a complimentary coffee or dessert, but nothing of the sort was offered, which made the experience even more disappointing. Perfect service, delicious cuisine and the best view on the Feraklos castle. We’ve tried several dishes on different days. Saganaki Shrimps, Symi shrimps and grilled calamari were the best ones, but moussaka, pork souvlaki, red mullet and tuna steak were very tasty as well. I also recommend trying cuttlefish, which was absolutely amazing, but you need to order something aside to dip it into the ink and enjoy it entirely.
