I've been staying there Aug 12-19. I am very happy and satisfied with that decision. HOST: Host is very friendly, feeds you with free breakfast and coffee. We ate together, at same table, we had friendly discussions on different topics, we joked and laughed, I am trying to point out how great these people are. It really felt that they want you to have a good vacation there. They got few cats and dogs which you can play with if you feel like it. Rooms: I mean...clean, good AC, host is ready change bedsheets when you ask, clean bathroom with mirror - hot water-anything you need, good WiFi, they had TV + Netflix ( i did not turn it on ), large enough bed, had a terrace that i could enter from my room (like second door), i dont know what else do people check, was fine for me! Lots of closets to keep your clothes. Location: I mean...i would kind of say it's 'middle of nowhere'. You got Restaurant 2 minutes walking from K Farm (and a beach with free sunbeds right next to it!), you got another one 2 minutes driving from that place. Apart from that - there is not much in close distance. If you have a car though - interesting places are ...5-15 minutes of driving, cool beaches, Kritenia Castle (most valuable memory of my whole vacation), small shops are like 10 minutes away. So yeah you are fine if you got a car, if no car - i guess you should stay in some crowded city. I am very grateful to Sanda and George for being so friendly and giving me such warm welcome and great impression of Rhodos. I really wish them the...
Read moreK Farm is situated 1 mile from the ancient site of Old Kamiros, and set back 600 meters from the beach in picturesque farm land - Its only 25 minutes from the airport, so its a wonderful place to explore the island of Rhodes. The owners, Sanda and Georgios are two of the friendliest and most hospitable people you will ever meet - Note: Georgios has cousins in nearly every village or taverna we visited:) We spent many evenings chatting, drinking and tasting Greek delicacies around their kitchen table (and with other interesting guests too). Although this is a guest house, you really feel part of their home. The K Farm can be best described as a guest house/small holding....at last count they had 4 dogs, 2 cats, rabbits, chickens, turkeys, and sheep. If you don't like animals and you normally inhabit 5-star all-inclusive hotels, this isn't the place for you! If you want simple clean accommodation in a beautiful spot, combined with wonderful homemade breakfasts and a real Greek experience, then you won't be disappointed. Thoroughly recommended:)
PS: You really need a hire car, unless you plan to stay local, in which case there is a beach 5 minutes away and 3 tavernas within...
Read moreWe chose our accommodation based on the booking reviews, and I have to say we were thrilled. It was our anniversary, and thanks to Sanda and Georgii, it became truly unforgettable. They are amazing people, very hospitable, and always ready to help. The free morning coffee and breakfast made to order were something we looked forward to every day. They also arranged a rental car for us at a great price and gave us lots of helpful advice. The animals added to the charm of the place. The beaches on this side of the island were quiet, pleasant, and sandy compared to the other side. Our room was comfortable, clean, and had plenty of free amenities for a relaxing holiday. There are four tavernas nearby that we tried, and Ta Filarakia was the best. This accommodation can't be compared to a hotel; with the rental car, you get both freedom and the feeling of home. We hope we'll be able to return to Sanda and Georgii's...
