Sifnos Elements has 6 rooms, 3 by the pool and 3 a little below. All rooms have private terraces with tables. Rodoula, the manager, is an absolute gem. She helped me coordinate my visit, the cars, breakfast, local attractions, and even offered me a late checkout when I asked if I could hang by the pool for a little while. A+ hospitality|My room was clean and modern, with a very comfortable bed. I was able to mostly block out the light, and slept like a rock every night. Super quiet - just the wind :)|The breakfast is amazing! There’s a full menu, which you can call or WhatsApp text in advance, along with the time you’d like to eat. Other than breakfast, there’s a few “light bites”, wine and beer available later in the day.|I did rent a car for a day and coordinated a pickup from the ferry. The process was very easy - I emailed in advance and voila. The cars are in great shape and very clean. You pick up and return at the hotel (you’ll need to fill up before returning, but there’s a gas station about 10 minutes away). I am a very confident driver and had no issues - the roads are well marked and in great shape unless you get really off the main areas. My google maps worked perfectly everywhere I drove, and the other drivers are polite.|A warning (although what follows is part of why I picked Sifnos, so I don’t think it’s a negative, but just FYI). The hotel is a little isolated - it’s not in a town or village. There is no “restaurant” at or near the hotel. If you arrive late and aren’t renting a car, pick something up in the port or bring dinner. I ended up eating the cheese plate for dinner (which I love so no complaints - my ideal dinner actually) but if you’re expecting a full meal, make sure you coordinate a car. There are taxis on the island but not many, so I’m not sure how their availability is.|That said, there is a very well maintained path to Faros, which has a beautiful beach and some great restaurants. I would suggest sneakers, and there is some elevation, but the path has shallow steps (NOT ideal for a baby stroller etc) and brings you right to the beach. Maybe 20 minutes? I had diner in Faros and walk back up in the dark - I brought a flashlight with me, and I would not recommend walking back at night without one.|Excellent stay and I’ll be back! As an FYI, I traveled as a solo female traveler and felt very safe. I didn’t see much of the other guests, so if you’re looking to make friends, head to the bars in Faros!|First two pictures are on my room terrace. Two of the pool, one of the walk down, one of Faros (and the beach cats!), pool at night, and then the rental car so you can see how well...
Read moreWe stayed in Room 2 of the 5 rooms that they have.||The room has been very well fitted out and tastefully decorated. There is a large patio area where breakfast is served.||The breakfast itself is excellent with plenty of choices.||The pool is fantastic. Salt water and refreshing. And sparkling clean.||The hotel is a five minute drive or bus from Faros. There is a partially paved path down to Faros which is just under a kilometre. A comfortable 14 minutes down and around 20 minutes up. Great views all the way.||There is no restaurant on site at the hotel but there are some good choices in Faros or other nearby villages. I’d recommend hiring a car even though we didn’t. We prefer to use the local buses but this branch only runs every couple of hours so needs a bit more planning. Particularly at night.||The couple who own the hotel are lovely and provide great recommendations. They will also provide transfers to all of the local destinations for between 15 and 40 euros. We transferred from another hotel at Plato’s Gialos and that was 20euros and a great service.||They are planning three additional rooms next winter but I don’t think that will impact the serenity that you experience here at Elements Sifnos...

It is far far more lovely. Sifnos was our favourite island on this visit to Greece.||There are only four rooms on site a helicopter pad a pool and the admin block.||We were greeted by the owners on arrival, Rolanda was so helpful for the entirety of our stay. Nothing was too much.||The bedroom was great, comfy mattress soft bedding good pillows and lovely bathroom products .||The public areas were well maintained and the pool area was gorgeous. They have an all day menu which is served fresh to order. ||Breakfast is such a treat served at your required time on the terrace of your room (more like a little chalet)||They have good parking on site if you have hired a car which you will need to do on this island. If you are a resident they have two brand new 4 door AYGO’s you can hire on a daily basis.||We are already planning our trip back, these are great people with high standards offering a first rate product and a...
