Letta Rooms & Studios — Hotel in Municipality of Sifnos

Do not go there. We booked a double room two months ago for 30 € per night and she only told us that it didn't have a balkony which we didn't mind. But when we arrived there at 21:00 we found that the room was nusty very tiny. A very small single turned to a double staffed with two beds. It looked like a very small warehouse like the ones under the stairs.The bathroom very small too the door swapped at the toilet.We even locked inside without turning the key only just by closing the door. The shower was even with the floor with nothing to seperate it so all the water was coming inside the room. The airconditioning didn't work and the towels were looking very dirty and old very thin and with holes. They looked grey and yellowish although the original color was white. The rooms were quiet and pleasant. Unfortunately, that's not the end of the story. Letta said she would clean the room every day. Instead she did the following: 1) came into the room and only removed the empty water bottles, which we assume have a deposit that she could collect, 2) when we asked her to clean the room, she yelled at us. We had to ask again, at which point, she yelled again and this time lied, saying that she had emptied the 2 garbage cans (which were still overflowing). Sifnos is full of the friendliest people we have met in our travels. Too bad Letta is not...

😊: Charming little place just up the hill from centre of the town where most of the bars and restaurants are. However, if you need a supermarket, head a shortish way up the road - or take non-road path a short distance away, for supplies etc. There are actually two almost adjoining supermarkets up there. Enjoyed my stay and good value for money.. 😢: Limited clothes storage options...
