Meropi Rooms & Apartments — Hotel in Municipality of Sifnos

I stayed in Meropi rooms in June and it was everything I hoped for. The room was large and spotless, the bathroom was modern and clean and the price was very good. The room had a small balcony with a great sea view. There's a shortcut down to the port (down stairs) and you'll be in the port in a couple of minutes. It's quite steep going up and down (in case you are not good on your feet). I ate in Meropi restaurant also and the food was really good and not expensive. There's a gorgeous little bakery just at the end of the stairs so you can pop down and get your breakfast pastries there. Small mini mart very near too. Beautiful clear waters to swim in just to the right of the port. The owner was very friendly and hospitable and left a little cake in my room. Sifnos is one of those magical Greek islands where locals go out of their way to assist visitors have a wonderful Greek holiday experience. Meropi Rooms have a view of the port for ferry watching and sunset drinks on the balcony. The owners have ensured that their budget rooms are comfortable for their guests. They are nicely painted and welcoming. You can have some meals in, as there is a fridge, tables and chairs (inside and on the balcony), a kettle and a few meal preparation items. Best location, beautiful bay views, and a brand new interior

My husband and I were so happy here. Our favourite spot was the cool undercover balcony. Gorgeous bay views, the best location a stone's throw from the ferry port, restaurants, the bus stop and the beach and sparkling clean. The interior looks newly painted and brand new. Everything works. The shower has good pressure. Nothing is tacky. Maria is an excellent, friendly host and even left us some home baked cake. In fact, now that I'm in Santorini I wish I was still in this stunning Sifnos apartment.
