Villa Anneta — Hotel in Municipality of Southern Corfu

If you want an accommodation that is pretty, clean, very close to the most beautiful beach of Corfu, and with lovely hosts, then look no further – Villa Anneta is where you want to be! Gregory and his son Alex run this place impeccably, and the cleaning staff (cleaning and providing clean towels every other day) are all extremely nice and smiley! We arrived with the bus from Corfu Town at Perivoli at 10 pm and Alex came and picked us up with his car. And even would have brought us to the bus station again early in the morning on the day of our departure (we hired a car for the last days, so that wasn’t necessary). More helpful hosts are difficult to find.||||Gardenos beach is a 2 km long sandy beach with lovely warm water – there are very few people on the beach once you move away from the sunbeds area. Gardenos has a very low-key nightlife and is very quiet at night, which is exactly what we wanted. There are 4 tavernas, a bar, and a small supermarket, all within a 5-minute walk next to the beach. We bought our breakfast, bottled water, and fruit at the supermarket, and always ate out at one of the tavernas, so we didn’t cook once. Gregory and his son Alex and their family and staff run this lovely villa, a few minutes walk from Gardenos Beach. The apartments are clean, well appointed and looked after and are set in lovely gardens tended by Gregory. The views of the sea and the hills are gorgeous and the few local bars and tavernas offer delicious, incredibly reasonably priced food in a wonderful setting. Gregory and Alex picked us up from our bus in Perivoli and dropped us off again at the end of our stay. Alex gave us a little tour of Gardenos Beach and Vitalades in the car and told us all about the wonders of Easter in Corfu. 😊: Location is fantastic, because it's 500m away from one of the best beaches on Corfu, Gardenos beach, or at least my personal favorite (2km long sand beach).The rooms are cleaned every 2 days, and the owner is very nice and will help you with anything you need. The village itself is, as mentioned, a village, so don't expect many places to visit, except a couple of taverns, tho there is a car rental agency in the village so you can visit other places on Corfu.
