This restaurant is definitely something else!

If you wanna try the best fish that you will eat in Corfu then definitely go here :) the menu is small, but they explain why.

Essentially, you are priced by the weight of the fish that you want to consume. Me and my significant other were brought inside the restaurant to observe the catch of the day.

After selecting the fish, you want to eat, it is weighed, and the price is determined. They have very many different fish to try. I selected the Seabream which was very tasty. They pair it together with freshly cut chips or/and veggies.

After ordering, they sent us a greeting from the kitchen, which was a delicious soup with garlic bread.

When the food arrived, we were in awe.

Everything is homemade, the vegetables are from the owner's garden, fresh fish, pork and lamb, bread and pastry from his daughter's bakery. The place is a family business, and they make you feel like home.

Everything we ate was delicious. Best souflaki stewardship in Corfu, best fish in town. Do rely on Alexandro's recommendations if you're unsure what fish to order. He'd also invite you inside to see all fresh options for yourself and choose if you want.

For vegetarian options you have salads, which are delicious, or the dish of the day, a vegetables stew.

The house wine is also very good.

Bread with olive oil is from the house, and we also got some cookies from the daughter's bakery the third time we ate there.

Just like many other reviewers mentioned, Alexandros is not your typical restaurant with fancy waiters and stiff atmosphere — it truly feels like visiting good friends. There’s a warm, family-like vibe from the moment you walk in. You can choose your own fish, find out exactly how much it weighs and how much you’ll pay, and the lovely owner will prepare it just the way you like — or happily recommend the best option.

We came here with our family and small childrens, and I have to say, after trying fish in many places along the Adriatic coast, this was one of the best — if not the best. It’s Greek hospitality and warmth in its purest form.
