Starfish Vacation Rentals - Athens Int. Airport — Hotel in Municipality of Spata - Artemida

We did not stay in these apartments as when we arrived, we were led up a very dirty stair and asked to wait 10 mins . During our wait we heard noises of things being moved around and were concerned that why when we had booked this accommodation and paid for in advance it was seemingly not prepared.? In support of Colrens review the apartments was not up to the standard. After visiting Greece for 35 years this is not what I would expect. In response to the owner/managers reply If the apartment was under renovation why were we not informed . Also he used colrens photos to point out the "supposed renevations" The entrance to the building was dangerous, paving was broken and could easily be a trip hazard. I think a full refund for somewhere we refused to stay is in order and the correct business acumen I would expect. In total disappointment of our last 2 days of a wonderful much awaited holiday we stayed at the Dolce Attica Riviera hotel this was not a monetary matter this is a matter of common decency and an honest portayal of where we expected to stay. U have a lovely view to the sea in a quiet area and also close to some nice restaurants and supermarket. Very happy and satisfied to stop here at Starfish..extended my stay quiet a few times..:-) Rooms differ in equipment , you can choos. Quiet and safe building. It's not a hotel, but the rooms / studios were comfortable and clean in every way. If I had ever needed the hosts, they were quickly on the spot for help. They ensure that you have nothing short of anything, everything is provided: all toilet facilities, towels, sheets, hob, washing machine, coffee machine, cooker, toaster, TV, ... I was really impressed and would definetly stay here again very soon. Friendly...

At the start of our round trip of Greece our host at Hermes apartment was George so on our return we were delighted to be met again by George at Starfish studio. Starfish is smaller but good value for money. The bedroom is clean, comfortable and has a lovely view of the sea. The bathroom is a bit small and the kitchen has everything one requires if staying over for a few days. Shops, restuarants and supermarkets are easily accessible within walking distance. The airport too is only 15 to 20 minutes away and easy to get to. Note that there is free WiFi, free parking and laundry facility. Lovely location, easy on the budget and wonderful friendly hosts.
