Our experience was extremely disappointing. After being seated, we were ignored most of the time. People who came after us were served drinks and food before us. My daughter was not even given cutlery until we asked.when our food Finally arrived it was cold and not nice at all. Upon finishing to eat , we waited for about 30 minutes for someone to ask if we needed anything else or if we were ready to pay. I had to go to one of the waiter to ask for the bill. I stood in from of two servers who totally ignored me until I interjected into their conversation to ask for my bill. I returned to my seat and waited 15 more minutes before a totally different waiter brought me the bill and the free desert they give. By that point all we wanted to do is to pay and leave. I gave him a tip because he was the only one who threaten us with decency. While leaving, nobody acknowledged us in anyway. I would be the last to call racism, but they were totally racists as this behavior was only done towards us the only people of color in the restaurant at that time. I am deeply offended and disgusted by the people we encountered in that restaurant. Never again!!. After spending 15 wonderful days in various places in Greece, I am saddened to experience this my last day . This place does NOT represent the nice and welcoming Greeks I have met during this trip. I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone, and I will share this experience with the Greek Airbnb owner who recommended it...

We had just arrived at Athens airport in Greece. As we had some extra luggage to store, we overheard the baggage handler suggest to the people ahead of a town called Artemida nearby to eat some food. With a couple of hours to kill before our connection to Mykonos, we went for it and were not disappointed but in fact truly impressed! Location Artemida was just a 10 minute drive by taxi from the airport. Uber was able to work and we reached a beautiful town overlooking the water. Many restaurants along the waterfront all offering fresh catch of seafood. Ambience Archontikon had plenty of seating and a stunning view of crystal clear water, we were lucky to get a table right by the water. Food We ordered a zucchini based fried starter and a plate of souvlaki. To compliment it, we paired a red house wine that was absolutely great! The souvlaki was presented on a vertical skewer, beautifully cooked with succulent pieces falling off and when dipped in the tzaziki sauce was a true delight. Accompanying the dish was some fries and salad. A truly nice gesture was after paying the bill we were brought ice cream and fudge. A custom in Greece to provide complimentary dessert in some parts, we were told. Overall A phenomenal introduction to our trip to Greece and we were truly delighted as it helped us kill some time that we would otherwise have spent at another airport and eaten the ordinary food available there. This one is for brown and black people only SADLY! BE VERY AWARE OF AND CAUTIOUS OF THIS RESTAURANT!!! One of the most disgustingly blatant racist restaurants I’ve ever been to IN MY LIFE! And I’m a brown person JUST by the way. Walked in with my better half and stood there as at least 5 waiters just stared at us and at each other not even budging. They only reacted when we asked if we can be seated. Another couple walked in and they are white, they got immediate service before us, breadsticks sauces the works, our table remained bare. We then tried to ask for a waiter from the group that kept staring and looking away when we tried to get their attention. Finally I verbally called for a hostess who then called over and got us a waiter, he then came over and then we started to get our food order, the food came and was literally just placed on the table and the server just walked away. While they did service checks on every single other table that were all white! ATROCIOUS! We were literally just brown people on display for each and every distasteful look we kept getting. AVOID THIS PLACE IF YOU ARE A PERSON IF COLOR!!! WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND NO MATTER HOW OK THE FOOD OR GOOD THE VIEW...
