Artemis — Restaurant in Municipality of Spata - Artemida

Ordered 1 gyro pork pita all dressed and 1 gyro chicken pita as well and a Dakos salad. Too much food is all I can tell you for one person. Salad is good for 3-4 people. I keep forgetting about portions in Greece is not the same as back home. The pork pita is very delicious and tasty. Big plus. Only thing that got me perplexed is green salad in the pita (?) not for me. Onions and tzatziki only and maybe tomatoes. The chicken too as well , should have read the menu, I thought it was tzatziki, but it wasn't =( What is that special sauce?? Mayo ??? Nooooooooooo.....never again. Be sure you ask what dressing you want if you order the chicken, unless you like it, for me ....not happening again. Sorry. We had lunch here and were so pleased we did. There is an extensive menu displayed on the video screens above the cooking area, which flash by quite quickly. We found out later that there’s a printed menu on the counter with the cash register, which would’ve made our life a lot easier if we had known to begin with. The team were really helpful, and when we ordered at the counter, let us know that we didn’t have to pay until after our meal. We had two pita’s (which in Australia we call kebabs) a chicken pita and a kebab pita. The kebab pita turned out to be like a mincemeat sausage and it was very tasty. After exploring loadssss of options in Athens during our stay for 2 months, this place remains one of the best souvlakis in the city and certainly the best in Artemida.

The quality vs price is unbeatable. The food is freshly made, the selections are huge. Their service is very quick considering they’re also busy. My husband said that this is the best grills for him.

You can either dine in, takeaway or order delivery. I rate 4 stars for the atmosphere as the restaurant offers only 5 tables inside and stools outside, I personally don’t like inside seats because of the smell of fries and oil.
