Emilia Luxury Apartments — Hotel in Municipality of Syros and Ermoupoli

I have a very average impression of this hotel. Definitely not "Luxury" (as seems to believe) in any case.||A few negative comments:||Owner lacks the necessary manners and charm needed when running a hotel. He is rude and distant, constantly on his mobile phone or looking at stocks online. He will not stop to help you in any way. After pacing the reception for 10 minutes (!) waiting for him to notice me, i had to interrupt him to ask for an extra chair for my balcony. All i got was a nod and a motion to hush! Chose a random chair from the garden and had to find a way to open up the double-doors in the lobby and carry it up to my balcony myself! ||Breakfast is extremely basic. Same bread, cheese, ham, juice, 1 choice of fruit, every single day. WATCH OUT...do not eat the fruit they have available...it is UNWASHED! We found out after eating 2 apples. Totally unacceptable.||The only person responsible for any good impression is the owners girlfriend who works extremely hard and is always ready to help with a smile.||I have had better quality in places that...

A real jewel, spacious rooms wonderfully decorated with antique furniture, wooden floors and modern bathrooms. Extremely clean, run by a very friendly and efficient couple who did everything possible to make us feel at home and fulfill all our wishes, they even helped us to find a restaurant where we could bring the fish we caught to be cooked! We stay at this hotel in early August. The room was small, but very clean and the staff very friendly. The back yard was a perfect place for the breakfast and not only. ||On the other hand, the breakfast was pure also served from 09.00 !! This was too late for us.||In any case this hotel is a very good place for those looking for quite holidays.||Syros is a small island and all the beaches are in sort distance ( by car, or Bike ).||The closest beach is Megas Gialos , a sandy beach only 150...
