The Talaras — Restaurant in Municipality of Syros and Ermoupoli

We have stopped here twice on our Syros holidays (something we usually dont do as we like to try lots of different places). The food served at this restaurant is delicious and the waiters are lovely. They don't speak much English but if they weren't apologizing for it we probably wouldn't have realized. Highly recommend to try their daily specials on the first page of the menu. The view on the sea is nice and calming. Lastly, the price-quality is outstanding. Try there white wine for 2.50euro for 250ml (way better than what I got for 4-8times the price in Naxos or Santorini). We'll be back next time in Syros! (Nice touch: we saw the little popsicle ice creams all over Greece and tried here for the first time, we keep buying one...

This place is special. The owner is so friendly, and the food was just amazing! In addition to the standard fresh, ripe tomatoes, cucumbers, and feta, this salad had fresh capers and a spicy leaf I've never seen before. The kebab was so flavorful and tender, and we're pretty sure the mussels were alive this morning.

They served us two desserts that I can't even describe, but, just everyone should have. We'll be going back during our stay for sure.

Charming restaurant, lovely location looking out to the sea, we've just arrived on the island after a few days in Tinos and this was the best food we've eaten during our stay so far, when we arrived at the restaurant we were warmly welcomed, our food quickly arrived and everything was so good, atmosphere was calm, chilled and relaxing. Absolutely recommend Talarus if you're in the area. Well done Team...
