Remvi — Hotel in Municipality of Syros and Ermoupoli

We stayed here as a family of three in one of the two-bedroom apartments that the hotel offers. The hotel fully deserves its high praise that is so evident on the previous reviews on here. Rooms are of a very high standard and are spotlessly clean with clean sheets and towels provided daily. The hotel has a very relaxed feel to it, has a lovely swimming pool and jacuzzi where you can while away the days, along with a pool bar serving drink and snacks throughout the day. Very chilled. The lovely beach is five minutes away via a path at the back of the hotel and has bars and restaurants at the back of it along with sun beds etc for hire. ||||The resort of Galissas has a lovely authentic feel to it. Just enough restaurants and bars to keep you busy, but with a very laid back atmosphere. Our biggest regret in coming here was that we only stayed 4 nights, which was en route to a longer stay in Paros. ||||Finally, a word about Yiannis and all of the staff here at the hotel. Yiannis is extremely helpful in making your stay here as enjoyable as it possibly can be with recommendations on what to see on the Island. This is a family run hotel and it is clear to see his pride in the presentation of the hotel and public areas - again everything is spotlessly clean and well presented. The other staff that we encountered at the hotel were also extremely friendly and helpful, from the lady who served breakfast to the young girl at the breakfast bar. Perfection. Just entering the hotel, seeing the beautiful pool, immaculate grounds and great view to the you are already cheered. But it is the great approach of the owner that really makes the perfect package. After a tiring day of travelling and some hiccups with our arranged accomodation we found this accomodation and the owner was super helpful and kind which made the stress disappear. Really nice approach during the whole stay. Really wonderful accommodation, lovely views to the sea, very tasty breakfast (and in the evening very very good strawberry daiquiris), wonderful pool. In Galissas there is a great sandy beach with long shallow entrance to the sea. The owner´s family owns a restaurant near the beach called Savvas - it was hands down the best meal we have had on this holiday in Greece. Close distance to the capital with good connections with public transport. All in all it was an amazing experience and we were very sorry we had only 3 days to stay.
