Sadly didn't discover this place till our last day here so we only got to eat there once. The atmophere of the place is great managing to give an upscale and casual feeling at once. It is clear that a lot of attention to detail has gone into decorating and picking out furniture and everything to create a great atmosphere. The choice of music also suited the place. The food was also great. The people I was with both got the local sandwich which was a great value at a low price. They also shares a zucchini salad which was also very tasty. I got the burger, which was good, though I felt it could have benefitted from something more acidic being included on the plate to give it a better balance. I've been twice this year to Argo. The new owners know how to provide a high quality service keeping at the same time their prices accessible.

The service is swift and kind, the atmosphere is airy, extremely cozy and tasteful thanks to the careful architectural rennovation of the space. The food is amazing retaining the traditional character of a greek tavern but with a fresh twist in some dishes, supported by a very high quality of ingredients. Their rosé house wine is excellent and if it happens to offer their hand-made bread that day don't miss it; it's a bliss!

I also had the chance to dine one day where there was a live gig, delivered by Greek mucisians of high virtuosity and talent!

The place opened a couple months ago, and the owner admits to a couple speed bumps as to atmosphere and menu choices. Luckily, he reacted quickly and made some wonderful adjustments. The atmosphere and food are fantastic! My evening cocktails and meal with a group of friends had each of us raving about this gem in Galissas. Many places struggle to get the right balance between lighting, menu offerings and music. Our group thinks Argo has gotten this just right. The food is local and fresh, the atmosphere romantic, and the jazz music is at the perfect volume where it can be enjoyed without impeding on the conversation among friends.
