Mandilaria Studios — Hotel in Municipality of Thira

Very cute little studios is Emporio. It's a family owned and operated business, they were very helpful and accommodating since we showed up very early for our check in. The pool was very nice and the area is quiet. A minute walk up the street is a little grocery store where we got all our snacks and food since we wanted to prepare some of our own food so we didn't spend a lot of money. Our studio had a little kitchenette, which has 2 burners, a hot water pot, and plenty of silverware, plates and glasses. I would definitely recommend getting a car at the airport, or booking one in advance. Some of the cheaper cars can be as low as 30 euros a day, and we paid 30 just for a taxi here, we wish we had just rented a car from the airport. Fantastic hotel! I stayed here when attending a friend's wedding nearby. I can honestly say that I have never received better hospitality than here. The owner was amazing and could not do enough to recommend places to eat/visit, order taxis, sort out anything we wanted. The hotel itself is simple.. nice rooms, small reception and the pool/poolside. Everything was spotlessly clean. The only downside is that it's about a 20-25 minute walk to the beach which is not ideal with children. However, taxis are pricey on Santorini so I would highly recommend hiring a car regardless of where you stay.. in which case this hotel is perfect as it has a large carpark and is well placed to get to most places on the island.||||I would love to return to this hotel, the staff did so much to make our stay special and I really appreciate the extra...

Stelios and his family are the ideal hosts,and we had a wonderful time at the apartments.The apartment was spotless and clean towels and bedding arrived daily.Stelios was never intrusive but his knowledge of the best places to visit on Santorini was so helpful,and we had a great time because of a number of his suggestions.|As my wife and I are now in our seventies we found that we were a little bit too far from restaurants etc(about a mile away)so we hired a car,and never looked back.We had a wonderful time,going on our little adventures and then heading back to the really well kept and quiet pool area for lazy afternoons.|We would like to thank Stelios and his parents for making this a brilliant experience for us and if we ever come back to Santorini I know that this is where...
