Mantilida Villa Santorini — Hotel in Municipality of Thira

This was a beautiful place. The villa is huge with a large living room, small kitchen and small table. The bed in the master was very comfortable. Lots of space to put your clothes. The air conditioning works great. There is a large bathroom, really nice rain shower head. The pool area is nice to sit around, though the water felt cold, probably because of how hot it is outside. The lounge chairs need some attention. In my Cave villa I have my own router so the wifi works great, but there is no cell service (after all you are in a cave house). There is wifi at the pool but it doesn't work the greatest, but it is there and you can access the internet. The location is a bit away from the beach, hence the “cave” room I am in. You can’t have a cave room and the beach; you need to dig out a cave in the side of the mountain. I was in awe when I first walked in and I am still very happy here! Can’t speak highly enough of this villa!! Spectacularly roomy and clean rooms. Great hospitality from the amazing host Alexandra. Swimming Pool is cleaned everyday and the lounges are so spacious. The villa is situated near a local market and has some nice restaurants in the area. The Perissa Black Sand Beach is only a 8 minute drive (or 30 minute hike, if you’re keen). This is a lovely place. It is very well situated and the property is extremely well maintained and decorated with very good taste inside and the outside. The pool area is fantastic. The location is great - very easy to access everything. Emporio was really nice. I will stay there again for my next trip...
