Lidra Samos S.A. — Hotel in Municipality of Western Samos

First thing first.... SAMOS is a fantastic place... definitely one of our favorites of Greek island, and we have visited a few during the years.||And if you stay a Ledra hotel your recipe of a FANTASTIC holiday is complete.||We stayed in Ledra Hotel from 17-25th of May 2019. During out stay we rented a car in the airport for the whole week using Enterprise Carrental (super company with good price conditions and service). We really recommend rending a car - then you can easy reach all the fantastic beaches and points of interest on the island.|| Ledra Hotel is perfectly situated in the very western part of Votsalakia - away from the center of the city with the normal tourist taverns, bars etc But still Votsalakia is very nice and not to full of tourists. The hotel is close to 2 very good tavernas, 100m to local baker, 150 m to supermarket and 150 m to the beach with crystal clear water. ||We stayed in a 2-room apartment (room nr 7) with perfect location with both sea view, view to the impressive mountain Kertis and view to the pool. The apartment is well equipped with all you need - you can make your own breakfast and light dinner. The size of the apartment is well above average and can fully accommodate 4 people. The bathroom is nice with new shower and toilet. The style of the apartment and the hotel is kept in a real traditional Greek style with full up to date interior. Our apartment had to balconies - both with room for 4 people to eat. The room and the hotel a always very clean and well-maintained.||The hotel has a nice pool area with both a small kid pool and a normal pool with depths of up to 2 m. The hotel has a lovely pool bar / minor taverna serving full range of beverages and really lovely traditional Greek food such as Greek salat, Dakos, tzatziki etc.||But what really make Ledra Hotel blow the trip advisor scale is the Personal of the hotel, especially the young hosts Anna and Nicolos. A the very first minute you arrive you feel welcome and get the feeling you are a part of a family. The hosts will literally do everything in their power to make your stay fantastic. They are beyond the normal helpful scale. They work from early Morning to late night and always with a smile and ready to help you. They guide on all the hidden and known highlights of the island. Every week they make a real traditional Greek barbecue with nice tasty food prepared from the stone grill - a real nice evening and opportunity to meet the other nationalities in the hotel.||The cleaning staff of the hotel are also very friendly and helpful. They clean the room every day and also tide up your room. ||We can only give our warmest and best recommendation - it exceeds what you normally see of a 3 star hotel. We have tried a dozen of really lovely Greek hotels but Ledra Hotel tops the scale.|| We give 6 out of 5 stars - Ledra Hotel really deserves a “travelers choice” award||||Best regards family...

Lovely little hotel in a quiet, peaceful location at the edge of town. Far enough that you don't hear the cars but still only 5 minutes walk to town and 2 minutes walk to the closest beach. Rooms are clean and spacious, bathrooms are basic but everything works well, showers hot and powerful. The pool is clean and a great temperature, in a very nicely kept garden. Pool bar has good drinks and snacks. Tv with premier league, Dutch, Spanish football in the reception lounge. Ana and Mikheil who manage the hotel are so friendly and happy, and nothing was too much to ask of them. We had the breakfast option and this was simple but very good. Fresh bread from the local bakery, fresh tomatoes, freshly pressed juice, ham, cheese, Greek yoghurt, honey, cereals and coffee. We would 100% recommend and would...

This hotel on this beautifull Island has everything you wish for. The rooms are clean, spacious with comfortable beds and a nice balcony. In the rooms is also a kitchenette with an electric stove and fridge so you can make your own breakfast or lunch in here. The bathroom is quite basic but was fine for us. At the clean swimming pool you can order anything you like at the pool bar. Vasilis will make you a clubsandwich or greek salad and is always in the mood for a chat or to give you usefull advise on where to go on Samos Island.
