A Hidden Gem in Samos – A Must-Visit!

This little restaurant is nothing short of a treasure. From the moment you arrive, you’re welcomed by a warm, relaxed atmosphere that instantly makes you feel at home. It’s the kind of place you stumble upon and never want to leave.

The food? Absolutely delicious – fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Whether you’re grabbing a small bite or a full meal, every dish is a delight. The drinks are just as impressive: ice-cold beers, perfectly mixed cocktails, and all at very reasonable prices.

What really makes this spot special, though, is the service. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure you’re comfortable without ever being pushy. And here’s a pleasant surprise – as long as you order a drink or something to eat, there are no hidden or extra charges, you can enjoy the sunbeds at no extra cost. Just honest, good hospitality.

Even on breezy days, the restaurant is nicely sheltered – no wind bothering you as you enjoy your meal, which can be rare on Samos!

All in all, this is the kind of place that makes a vacation memorable. Highly recommended – I’ll definitely be coming back!

If you’re exploring the beaches of Samos, this is a must visit. The beach itself is relatively small, and can be reached by a long walk from Kampos. The Mocambo Beach Bar offers free sunshades and sunbeds provided you procure their food and drinks, which on a hot day is a no-brainer. The kitchen is fabulous, offering the freshest, quality produce at great prices. On top of the deliciously traditional ‘Hellenic’ menu, they uniquely also have a few authentic Thai dishes, which we tried, and which were DELICIOUS!!!!!! How do they do this? You might ask. They have a Thai chef in the kitchen, and boy is she good. If you like Thai food, you’ll love this place. The tables are nicely spaced apart, all under shade, or you can have your food and drinks served on the beach at your sunshade.

The music (piped to the beach through EV PA speakers) is varied, Western blues rock and RnB. Never too loud, but a very relaxing soundtrack to your day.

The warmest most friendly greeting from the staff to your whole family as you arrive which doesn't fade through the duration of your stay. The staff are most attentive and the drinks and food just exceptional. These guys have got it right. BIG TIME

It's right on the beach and they deliver to your sun lounger or table. No expectation for tips / you to pay extra. They are truly wonderful.

The food is amazing. The chips (fries) just like a well known restaurant chain which the teen aged kids found irresistible ;o)

The beach front is 20 seconds walk from the shaded bar. Super clean toilets on site.

Tranquility with double helping of serene beach amazing scenic backdrop sums this place up entirely. You WILL NOT be disappointed...
