An absolute hidden gem, do not go to Samos and miss having a meal here. My wife and I booked an AirB&B in one of their rooms overlooking the ocean, and did not realize that the family that owned the room also owned the restaurant next door. What an amazing surprise!

Right from the beginning you feel like you're part of the family. When we first showed up, the whole family came out and we chatted for about an hour over watermelon slices and Greek wine, while enjoying the afternoon view of the ocean. When we came back that evening for dinner, the oldest daughter sits you down outside, bring you drinks, makes some recommendations on places to visit, then asks you what you want to eat. They don't have a menu, they just make recommendations on what ingredients they have on hand, but they seem to be able to whip up anything. She will ask you what you like, and then come up with a “strategy” … it’s amazing! The food is absolutely delicious, and you can watch the mother/father/daughter team cook it from scratch right in front of your eyes. There's friendly cats and dogs patrolling the compound, all super friendly, and the whole time you’re enjoying a view of the ocean. It’s absolutely tranquil.

The prices are amazing as well. Absolutely delicious gourmet family cooked meal, including appetizer, a bottle of wine, some aperitifs, and dessert, and it was about 30 euros all together!

You will not be disappointed eating here, and if you are lucky enough to find availability in their AirB&B rooms, book it immediately!

Our engagement celebration at Loukoulos in Vortsalakia, Samos, was absolutely unforgettable! Together with my fiancée, we organized this event, and it couldn't have been more perfect.

The warm atmosphere and fantastic mood were enjoyed by the 25 guests from Germany and Switzerland alike. Each one of us was completely overwhelmed by the fantastic ambiance that stretched throughout the entire evening. The view over the sea and the horizon with the twinkling stars were simply breathtaking and created a magical backdrop.

Flora, the hostess and owner of Loukoulus, perfectly organized every detail. Her dedication and organizational skills contributed to making this evening unforgettable. The DJ, Leonidas, captured our musical preferences and elevated the good spirits to an even higher level. From 10 p.m. onwards, there was only dancing and laughter.

The food and drinks were phenomenal – catering to everyone from meat lovers to vegetarians. The variety and quality of the dishes impressed us. The celebration passed in a flash as the night eventually came to an end. It might sound like a wild party, but it was also incredibly festive and touching.

We were all overwhelmed by the opportunity to experience such a celebration. The tasteful decoration, the warm hospitality, and the excellent cuisine provided by Flora and her team made this evening truly special.

Should we ever decide to get married, it will definitely be at Loukoulus. You made our evening unforgettable. Thank you very much!

Beide Gerichte waren ok, geschmacklich jedoch kein Highlight.

On a balmy Greek night, we made our way to Loukoulos near Psili Amos, originally intending to visit Cicero's Bar. Greeted with a delightful blend of music, laughter, and the distant melody of crashing waves, we were already somewhat tipsy and in high spirits. The hostess at Loukoulos, displaying Greek hospitality at its finest, immediately made us feel welcomed. Even though we had dined already and declined to order a full meal, she graciously offered to facilitate our cocktail orders from Cicero's Bar downstairs. This allowed us to relax and take in the vibrant atmosphere without a care in the world - it was the epitome of service. Unable to resist the tempting dessert menu, we decided to give it a try - and oh, what a treat! Each dessert was a beautifully crafted masterpiece, offering an explosion of flavors that danced on our taste buds. I can confidently say they were some of the best desserts we have ever savored. Loukoulos gave us an unexpected, but cherished night filled with delightful desserts, stellar service, and a relaxed, enjoyable atmosphere. This was a gem we stumbled upon, and it has left us with memories to cherish. Definitely a must-visit when in Samos. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We are staying close to Loukoulos Restaurant and have eaten there a few times in the last couple of weeks. Elpida and her kitchen staff are talented and creative. They take Greek food to another level, everything we have had there has been delicious, always fresh ingredients, finely prepared. We have had a number of the wonderful salads, the beef stefado, pork roll and stuffed squid which were all delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant if you want a more refined Greek style dinner. The atmosphere is lovely with a view of the sea.
