Golden Bay Suites & Maisonettes — Hotel in Parga Municipality

We’ve stayed for 4 nights, but could have easily stayed a lot longer. The property is as described and pictured and has delivered a fantastic stay in every way. Finding it from the main road proved a bit difficult only due to a fault of our own, so trust the sat nav and followed the signs:) On arrival we were greeted by lovely Katerina and Theo who provided a detailed advice on what the resort has to offer ( restaurants, bars, trips, beaches).Home made Limoncello was also a lovely touch and made us even more welcomed. Property is fitted with contemporary furniture with all mod cons including and AC and Nespresso machine YESS!(capsules topped daily). The room was cleaned daily. It is about 10 min stroll downhill to a beautiful Blue Flag Beach. Parga town(including Venetian castle) is 20+ min. away, but there is also a boat running every 30 min. from the beach costing €2.50 if you don’t fancy the walk. Our second time staying at Golden Bay and we were superbly happy to be back! Theo, Elenor and Mary are the ultimate hosts. Stunning views! Stylish, clean and super comfortable apartments. Just a 10 minute walk, through the olive and lemon groves, to Valtos beach with three minimarts nearby. Water taxi to Parga is €6, taxi €10 or walk up and over past the castle. Highly recommend Captains Bar in Valtos for sun beds €5 per day and the best calamari lunch. So many amazing restaurants in Parga - best are Sakis, La Barca, Stefanos and Perivoli. Also try the mezze starter for two at Gemini. Highly recommend pre-dinner drinks at Sol Hotel in Parga. Or for an amazing view try 1305 bar (can’t remember name but easy to find) next to the castle. The location is peaceful but still close to everything you need—restaurants, beaches, and local attractions.||Our suite was spotless, modern, and very comfortable, with a beautiful terrace and all the amenities you’d expect from a high-quality stay. The maisonettes are perfect if you’re looking for extra space and a touch of luxury.||The staff were incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay.
