Ammos beach bar — Restaurant in Parga Municipality

To hardly avoid this beach. If there was the option to put 0 stars I would… but the system requires me to put at least one. We asked for an accomodation at the beach (50€), the guy accompanied us and we asked wheter we should pay at the arrive but he said not to worry about because there was the possibility to do it at the end of our day. Then we went to the restaurant for lunch and we asked 2 salads and 2 club sandwiches. We wait for at least one hour (at the restaurant there were few people so the wait was unjustified). At 16:35 they gave us one salad so that only one of us could eat. So we decided to call the “waiter” (if I could name it as it) asking him to remember the chef our order and also the amount of time occured (we said this maybe 3 times). The guy entered in the kitchen, then he left and never came back to our table. We wait other 5 minutes and then we check the price for the first salad (and a bottle of water) and left on the table the money (without even asking the 2€ of change). We returned at the beach for staying there and then the so-called “waiter” reached us asking why we left the table and we said that he was not correct in not returning to our table and warning us about the wait. He began to verbally abused us even if we already said him we paid the salad and the water (+ 2€ of change) not even apologized for the mistake. Then he continued to yell at us (and all the guests were looking shocked) and said he wanted our money at that precisly moment for the beach accomodation even we said that we were not going to leave the place. It was unjustified because previously he not asked for our money so he has exercised an abuse of power among all the guests. We decided to pay in that random time (even if we are still at this beach) because we were talking with an unprofessional person. So… to hardly avoid this beach. We come here every year. We love the food, service and mostly the atmosphere! It's a wonderful clean, huge beach. Ammos beach bar is fairly big. They have AMAZING club sandwiches with fries. The yogurt with hiney is also very good. The staff is fast and friendly like always. The atmosphere is absolutely wonderful! Wir sind 10 Tage an an diesem wunderschönen Strand gewesen und das türkis Blaue Meer genossen. Ammos beach Bar ist ein sehr sauberer und organisierter Strand Abschnitt in einer sehr sehenswerten Bucht. Die Liegen sind gepflegt, dass sieht man auch daran, dass die Liegen zum Abend alle abgeklopft, kontrolliert und die Schirme nicht ihrem Schicksal überlassen werden, sondern zum Abend abgenommen und am nächsten Morgen wieder aufgestellt und aufgespannt werden. Das Personal ist sehr gut unterwegs alle Bedürfnisse der Leute zufrieden zu stellen, besonders Petros hat für alle Angestellte und Gäste ein Ohr. Alle Griechenland Reisende wissen, dass vor allem im August die Bewirtschaftung eine Herausforderung ist. Die Getränke werden einem immer schön gekühlt zu deniegen gebracht. Wer im Hotel Parga Beach Resort eingecheckt hat, kann natürlich auch alles aufs Zimmer schreiben. Zur Lage, eine bessere Lage im Hochsommer in Parga kann man nicht haben. Wer Lust auf die Stadt Parga, aufs Shoppen oder Nachtleben hat, der nimmt einfach das Boottaxi am Strand und lässt sich für 2,50€ in 5min nach Parga fahren.
