Fabulous place to stay with a wonderful welcome from Maria and Matteos. I looked at a couple of places closer to Aliki port and am so glad I picked Maria's Village.. From the genuine, warmth, kindness and friendliness we found true Greek hospitality.... there were some vegetables from the garden in the kitchen as well as some of their olive oil from the trees on the property.... to the location which is 2mins from the beach but also only 3 mins from the port if you take the streets at the back, but so quiet and peaceful with a view of the sea from the front porch. We whiled away the days, happily pottering from the beach to the villa for lunch and a nap, then back to the beach for a spot of sunset swimming, before having a shower and heading to a taverna. Perfect spot to relax. We were there in early October and the weather was perfect, no winds, hot enough to swim and quiet, not too many tourists, but enough for a bit of atmosphere at the tavernas. Highly, highly recommend staying here.We wish we could have stayed here longer and made use of the BBQ area which looked lovely. Photos don't do this place justice. Thank you for a perfect greek island holiday Maria...
Read moreI spent 12 days in July with my family (4 people) in one of the apartments at Maria’s Village. What can I say about this experience, except that it was wonderful? The apartments at Maria’s Village are located in Aliki, one of the most beautiful and characteristic villages of Paros. Besides the enchanting location, the apartments are meticulously maintained, and the assistance provided by Maria, who manages the property, was excellent. The apartments, in Greek style, are equipped with every comfort. They offer the possibility to cook at home if you decide not to dine in one of the taverns in Aliki, which are only a 5-minute walk away. They are equipped with stoves, an oven, a microwave, and a homogenizer. The location is stunning: immersed in an olive grove, they are only a few minutes from the center of Aliki, the bus stop, and the beautiful Aliki beach. Maria, who manages the apartments, is a delightful person who, with the typical Greek hospitality, made us feel very welcome. Excellent value for money. I recommend it to those seeking tranquility and wanting to experience Greece in its...
Read moreMaria and Mathaios were simply the perfect hosts. When we arrived, they welcomed us with a basket full of fresh fruits and vegetables from their own garden — such a heartwarming and delicious gesture — and a bottle of their homemade olive oil, which was honestly one of the best we’ve ever tasted. When they noticed we were almost out, they kindly brought us another one! To top it off, Maria even bought a small gift for our 2-year-old son — truly above and beyond. The house itself is authentic, clean, and cozy, combining traditional Greek style with modern comfort. It’s spacious and fully equipped — kitchen with all utensils, oven, stove, microwave, and even a washing machine. The balcony is stunning, overlooking the sea, and the surrounding area is full of fruit trees and even some chickens — our little one loved that! The location couldn’t be better — just a 5-minute walk to the Aliki promenade and what we think is the nicest, most child-friendly beach in the area: sandy, shallow, and calm. It felt like home, and we’re already dreaming of...
