Paros Rita Cycladic House — Hotel in Paros Municipality

Booked a couple of rooms via email in November for my friends and I who will be travelling to Greece for a climbing trip in April.||||All arrangements and dates were discussed and confirmed. I offered to pay a deposit at the time for the rooms but this was ignored when questioned and was told she will email me again in February to see how things are with the booking.||||Weeks later she emailed again saying she wanted to double check the bookings to make sure she hasn't made any mistakes, even though she ALREADY had all my INFORMATION on the emails||||Because i didn't respond within minutes (a couple of days later), my booking got cancelled.|||| She then offered me 1 room, to which my response was "how many beds are in that room?"||||Then, to add insult to injury, she CANCELLED AGAIN and said i took to long to respond?? I replied within 1 hour.||||I'm very upset that she can treat her customers like this, very UNPROFESSIONAL.||||I can only presume she double booked the rooms with someone else. Which is fair enough, mistakes happen, but i didn't get an apology, instead i got the blame because I didn't response quickly enough even though everything was confirmed last November.||||Very disorganised. I'm extremely annoyed and frustrated by the terrible customer service and poor...

The location of Rita is great: nice beaches at the little harbour and a nice supermarket up the hill at only a 15 minutes walk The beds are quite hard though and the studio looks dated. The kitchen only has the basic utensils like a pan and some cutlery.

The roomservice is great though: once every two days we would return to our room and find it in perfectly nice and clean condition again. The patio is also lovely, making for a great place to have breakfast or dinner while enjoying the cool wind. Something to keep in mind though is that you are quite visible to the neighbours while outside, as the last 1/3 of the wall...

We (two couples) stayed at Rita's in July this year for 4/5 nights & it was great. The tranquility of the gardens and the surrounds was excellent. Rita's studios are perfectly positioned for easy access to every facility one needs. The beach, many restaurants, the ferry booking office & bus stop are all within a few minutes walk. The welcome e got and friendly advice and help was really appreciated. Nothing was too much trouble. And the price was really competitive for the standard of her studios. We are already planning to go back next year....
