WOW the food was amazing here! Maybe the best traditional Greek food we've ever tried in Greece. It was recommended to us by a local. The location means you're going specifically to this restaurant and not in a town or village. It is family owned and you can feel it from the delicious food to the helpful and super friendly staff, Cristina is the owner's daughter and is so nice and helpful. The house wine was also a highlight, it was amazing. Not one thing disappointed, the trilogy mezze, salad, peppers stuffed with feta cheese in the oven, the oven roasted lamb, meatballs, can't say enough about this place. We loved it so much we wanted to come here again but didn't have the chance to. Giorgos the owner had Raki shots with us when we finished eating and is very funny and welcoming and is an example of why I love Greece and its food. They even gave us a complimentary dessert which was equally as delicious as our dinner. If I'm ever back in Paros this is the first restaurant...
Read moreVery positively surprised, we have randomly pulled over outside and decided to give it a shot, and food was absolutely delicious and surpassed our expectations by a fair margin, service was very fast and polite, this is traditional/home-cooked food style, full of flavour and portions are generous even the starters where big, sadly there was no our favourite stuffed tomatoes on menu so for starters we had some feta stuffed peppers and baked feta in honey and sesame, all very very tasty and the later one could easily compete with 5* hotel quirky dessert, then came the chicken souvlaki and eggplant, again, you can tell quality ingredients have been used, and someone in the kitchen knows what she/he is doing as we both left feeling well-fed and fully satisfied. Also, prices are on the friendly side and more than adequate given the portion sizes, The place looked very tidy, and I liked the style, can honestly recommend and will definitely come back for more,...
Read moreIn the last 15 years I’ve been 60 times to Greece I could say this place has a great atmosphere lively vibes and friendly staff But the food was not even close to the standards of fresh Greek cuisine Well the Greek salad isn’t fresh (felt like it had been sitting for some time in the fridge ) The kontosouvli was served cold literally ,the meat tasted also old and unseasoned The paidikia (lamp chops ) were fresh and tasted yummy (hence the 3 stars ) Tzatziki also good but has been sitting in the fridge for some while Chilli feta was delicious Mushrooms were good Waiters were very sweet but slow service
I was really excited for finding a family owned tavern in Paros and held my standards high nevertheless disappointed
