Endless View Villa — Hotel in Thassos Municipality

Very disappointing experience – would not recommend

We were very disappointed with our stay at this hotel. The rooms are extremely small and look nothing like the pictures online. The hotel is located on a steep hill that you have to climb every time you return – definitely not suitable for people with mobility issues or families with small children.

Although the hotel is advertised as being "right on the beach," the beach itself is completely unsuitable for swimming. It's extremely rocky, full of large crabs and sea urchins, and there are no people around. To reach it, you have to go down a steep slope, which feels quite unsafe – it's very easy to slip and fall.

Each room has a small terrace with a table and chairs, but unfortunately you can’t sit outside because there are wasps everywhere, making it impossible to relax.

The bathroom was also disappointing – the drain barely works, so water stays on the floor for a long time. The ventilation is extremely weak, and the whole bathroom stays humid and uncomfortable.

The main reason to rent this villa is the view that you'll have from the sea view rooms. The room is cleaned daily. Now about the problems : bad smell comes from the bathroom. You 'll have to vlimb a steep road every time you want to leave/come the location. There is no good place to swim near the location (the water near the villa is full of rocks, sea urchin, etc). The closest market is about 1 mile away, the closest tavern the same distance. The rooms are badly insulated and you will hear all the noises from the other rooms and also the noise from the busy road downstairs. There is no complementary coffee or thea, nothing. I was extremely disappointed with my stay at this hotel. First of all, there was no hot water in the morning or at night, which was incredibly frustrating, especially after a long day of travel. On top of that, the Wi-Fi connection was non-existent, making it impossible to get any work done or even stay connected. The walls were so thin that I could hear people talking in the neighboring rooms, which made it hard to relax or sleep.
