Hotel Diamond — Hotel in Thassos Municipality

Normally I never rate 1 star for everything, since something should be good. But here there is nothing deserves a star. They are not aware but the hotel has some serious issues. First room we checked in was smelling bad and there were hairs from the previous user in the bathroom. We asked for support and one lady showed up with bucket full of mud (believe it was more than a dirty water). We didnt let her to use that “water” to clean the bathroom. She picked up all the hairs with her hand and left the room. Because of the smell we asked for another room. The next room has similar issues without the smell and hairs. Dirty sheets, broken shower head, and the drain in the bathroom floor. When you use the sink, all the dirty water was coming out from the drain on the floor. The breakfast was awful, we found hair in the chocalate cup and all the forks& knives were dirty. We literally escaped from that place as soon as we can find another place. The owner was not helpful with anything, they literally stole our money...

We booked deluxe sea view room-stayed for 4 nights at the hotel. Room size and cleanliness were great, bathroom was renovated and nice. Hotel’s staff communication and overall service at the pool were poor. Breakfast was enough, fine and satisfying if u’re not looking for luxury. Vecna beach (walking distance 5-10mins-rocky-sand) and tyripiti beach (10mins drive rocky-sand) are close to the hotel. Iris jewelry shop is just neighbour to the hotel (2-3 mins walking distance). Hotel is very silent (we were concerned about the noise as there is a pool, but pool bar wasn’t serving, pool was used by few kids-so no noise indeed). It was ok all in all, but wouldn’t stay again because of the noise of the cars and gas station on...

We had a lovely time at the hotel in the end of April. The staff was very kind and helpful. The breakfast was delicious. The rooms are nicely designed, comfortable and clean. I loved the bathroom - beautiful tiles and sink! As it was cold (10 Celsius outside) we needed blankets, but there was only one in the wardrobe and it was dirty. The yard and the small gardens are well maintained and the swimming pools look great. The hotel has a beautiful white sandy beach across the road.
