Really unsatisfied as a client! I don't know if the bad service and the attitude is to all Bulgarians, but I'm really disappointed. The food arrived fast, but they did't give us "smoke"- as they called it and we couldn't eat because of the wasps that were everywhere on the table.. That waiter was the kid of the owner of the Tavern. When we ordered later Frappé coffee on the beach, they gave us nothing like Frappé and they DIDN'T gave us the free water which comes with the coffee everywhere, but the other guests of the island got all the service.. I'm NOT sorry for telling this, but DO NOT VISIT THIS TAVERN IF IT'S YOUR FIRST TIME ON THE ISLAND THASSOS!` Note- if you're for the first time there, order your meal with "smoke" for the wasps.

Update reply for the manager. We came and asked you 4 times for the "smoke" and after people on the nearest table started laughing at us, someone told the kid to bring us the "smoke"

We were excited for the Friday greek night and booked a reservation. Our table was badly positioned and we couldn't see the dancers and entertainers. 4 girls from Limenaria Dancing School showed us traditional dances and songs. They were really charming and talented. After their program, only the singers remained, one of which had a guitar. The first guy really did his job great and sang beautifully throughout the night. The guitar guy was not interested in the public most of the time (the owner scolded him and he started walking through the tables and talking to people) and even when he was, he sang some of the songs wrong, the traditional ones (got lazy and started humming random words). But hey really did their job and we had fun. The staff was very friendly and helpful to us. The food was ok for an open buffet. We paid 20€ per person for the buffet plus the drinks. In conclusion it was worth it, but only one time. The bathrooms were horrible, very dirty and not hygienic at all. Wouldn't return. Should've suspected how bad this would turn out when handed the tavern's pamphlet at the port. Despite this, we did decide to lunch there after seeing the ratings - BIG mistake. The food was horrendous - raw and tasteless french fries, fish begging to be thrown back in the pan otherwise they threatened to jump back in the sea and a dry salad, for which when we requested olive oil the waiter replied they already put some and we would be charged extra for additional. Absolutely inedible; none of our family of three dared more than a bite of each dish, even though we were all starving. Ended up asking for tge check immediately, leaving the full dishes behind. To top that, along came food poisoning, a couple of hours later, with all it's nasty symptoms... Avoid...
