Tourist trap!!! I’m letting the pictures speak for themselves and I strongly advise each one to go to the place and see the exact room you will get first before paying for it! Maybe some rooms are ok after all, taking in consideration all those 5 stars rewievs😏. However, I find it very strange the comment that says the rooms were cleaned daily. We got the towels and sheets changed once in 6 nights! They will ask you to go to the main hotel in Pefkari, pay, and they will give you the key and you will go alone to see the “magnificent” room they pepared specially for you… I can relate to Plamen Nikolov, he had the room below ours.
Cons: Room not clean when we got it, just for an untrainned eye maybee. Living full of ants. Moldy tile in the bathroom. Rusty nobs. Old beat-up furniture. The fan in the bathroom and the freezer made terible noises!!! Strong smell of sewer in the bathroom. Windows not cleaned… ever i think. You can hear every car and what is happening outside on the road and in the area, the windows and the door do not isolate the noise. Very difficult to take a nap during the day or go to sleep before 11:00 PM ( we have 2 small children and it was a nightmare to put them to sleep with all the noises) The walls are so thin that you can hear your neighbour’s farts! Let’s not talk about other stuff. Lots of mosqitos! Bring special spray! There is no dor between living area and bedroom, just a plastic paravan.
Because all of these we decided to leave a day earlier, even if we paiyed for the night. Totally not satisfied about the price paid for the above mentioned conditions.
Pros: Free parking Decent pool, but the deck is starting to fall apart You can leave the AC on when you leave the...
Read moreKapahi Seaview cancelled our booking a week before we arrived, citing technical difficulties. First email said they had only one of the room types we requested, but another different room was available. Second email said that new room wasn’t available, they had a different one available. We tried to contact them via phone and email over a 2 day period to finally get another email stating all rooms were no longer available. We are a large group, with one family with 4 children - not easy to find accommodation for. We had grandparents booked in a hotel next door and couldn’t find alternate accommodation in the same area, so had to cancel their booking also(at a cost of 88Euros), and spend $1500 extra on last minute alternate accommodation. Very stressful and frustrating to spend 3 days of a holiday with poor wifi trying to sort out...
Read moreThe worst place we stayed in at least 10 years. We booked a sea view room and were given a place in the basement with the reply "Sea view" is the name, not an actual sea view..The bed for the kids was hardly a fit, we were lucky they are not so tall yet. Room, toilet and shower with no isolated doors, all in one place. No ventilation in the shower...The lady managing the place was litely said rude, the guy at the hotel was just the same. They changed the sheets once, never cleaned the place during our stay. We had a "jacuzzi" with the same dwarf size, that stayed dirty the whole week too. Greek old-fashioned style...
