Lena Apartments — Hotel in Thassos Municipality

I’m quite disappointed with my stay at Lena’s Apartments in Potos. The pictures online are misleading and don’t reflect the actual condition of the property. The rooms are extremely small, and the road nearby is very noisy, making it hard to relax or get a good night’s sleep.

Everything in the apartment felt cheap and poorly maintained. One of the most frustrating issues was the broken flushing mechanism, which we reported immediately. Despite waiting for two days, no one came to fix it — we ended up repairing it ourselves. Our messages were ignored, yet the hosts were quick to respond about the checkout time. Interesting.

The atmosphere was far from welcoming. The hosts have artificial smiles but it is very obvious that there was no genuine hospitality and it is all just business. I visited many places in Greece, but never felt like this before. So far from Greek hospitality....

Unfortunately, I couldn’t leave a review on the Booking.com site because I was asked to cancel the reservation — a tactic that now seems like an attempt to avoid honest feedback. I would not recommend this place and suggest future guests manage their expectations carefully. Never consider this as an option if you come with a family, especially with small kids. We stayed there for a week and the experience was overall good. The good: modern rooms very comfy bed and pillows AC was working properly and it was free of charge the fridge, again working properly, also the freezer was on point the breakfast was somehow the same but it was alternating and plenty of stuff to eat the staff helpful and speaking good english

The bad: thin walls and if have the "luck" to have neighbours with kids, goodbye sleep rooms 206 and 207 didn't had any wardrobe or something to put your clothes, our entire week the clothes were on the floor in the troller

Based on the above, if the owner reads this, I know that your property is new or recent renovated but, instead of that kitchenette a wardrobe will be more appreciated or divide the rooms for people that really want a space to cook something or not.

At the end we received a small gift which was unexpected.

We went in Potos in July 2021 and we booked 2 double rooms with breakfast included. Everything was great. The rooms were very modern, with a comfortable bed and a great air conditioner. They were situated at first floor, and we also had a mini-balcony with 2 chairs and a table for spending our free time. Also the breakfast was super delicious with great quality food. The rooms were cleaned everyday and the towels were changed everytime we asked (maximum 2 days with the same towels). Lena is a very friendly person and everything we asked for, she resolved as soon as possible. The building is situated very close to the beach, maximum 3 minutes walk.
