Tavern Akrogiali — Restaurant in Thassos Municipality

This was not the best meal we had on our vacation. Serving staff was somewhat chaotic and was moving about alot, but not very alert to the customers. Food was very bland and tasteless, we had 1 dish of stifado(needed flavor and a bit of salt, tasted mainly of tomatopure, but no other spices), 2 different types of pasta(again pretty much just tomato pure, no other flavor) and a simple greek salat(this was good). Wine was good , but the waiter mistook my order for single glass and gave us a full carafe. When i wanted to pay for the meal it took me 10 mintus to get hold of a waiter and it took them additional 15 minuts to bring the bill. All in all the place is pretty, but the staff needs to managed a bit better and the cook needs to taste his dishes a bit more before sending them out. This dinner was also the most expensive dinner we had 65€ for 3 main courses and one salad, plus 4 drinks and the wine(we did not order) :)

I give them 3 of 5, but only because the place looks pretty and the wine tasted good. otherwise it would have been 2 of 5... Sorry guys, you tried but failed...

Quite disappointed by the restaurant. The food was good but thats about it. When we sat, a lady came to take our order. She was so distracted when doing so (looking around other tables while writing down our order...which was also kind of rude) that she had not written down one of our drinks and we had ask for it again. When we asked for the bill were were told that we would get watermelon for desert. We paid (left a normal 10% tip) and after waiting for 20 minutes on an empty table while everyone else around us got desert but not us, we decided to just leave. The desert itself does not matter but you dont tell someone that you would bring him a free desert and then just...

The food was not the best quality, but in quite large amounts. The waiter was very talkative and nice, but forgot some of the order. The food was brought in quite fast, but seperately for everyone in 10-15min intervals. When the check was brought in, it was not clear for what we were paying. The order was hand written in greek and there was more than we have ordered. At the start of the meal we were given a bottle of water, and at the end, a plate of watermelon, which according to the waiter was "on the house". So we do not understand what we were paying for if we did not ask for any of those things, but still got writen down a biger price for something. Overall not a...
