Pension ALDEBARAN — Hotel in Thassos Municipality

We had a nice time here! The owner lady is so friendly and kind, takes from her time to explain things and has a positive vibe :)

The street outside is bit loud at times (some scooters, garbage truck early in the morning etc.), but close the door and windows, bring some earplugs or noise cancelling headphones if you have troubles sleeping or are very sensitive (I was bit like this, one of the days), but if you do not have such problems, then this is one of the nicest places around - also from outside and inside point of view and pleasant conditions.

I was pleasantly surprised by the whole experience at Aldebaran. The location is on the main street in Potos, a 2 minutes walk to the beach or the central marketplace. Everything was perfect for the whole stay. A very nice family business with friendly staff, big and clean rooms, free wi-fi, free coffee and tea, air conditioning, tv and the best gift shop on the island. Not to forget FREE Kayaks which were a blast! Also they were kind enough to lend us one of their bikes for us to do a trip to Limenaria. Potos is located in a part of the island where you can find the most beautiful beaches (You do need a car to reach them, though). Aldebaran is right in the middle of the town center where you can find supermarkets, groceries, bakeries or taverns. The owners are super hospitable people who help you with everything you need! They were so nice to give us a bottle of fine organic olive oil as a present before we left. The rooms are not too big but they are clean. The bathrooms are newly renovated and quite nice.
