“The Paradise!” This was our exclamation when we stepped out for the first time on the balcony of our studio in Felitsia apartments. The next days and the several small towns and beaches we visited in the area only confirmed this first impression.||Our hosts – Filitsa and her family – were so kind! With my husband we appreciated so much their warm welcome; we were not treated as clients, but like family friends and Filitsa was trying to assure wonderful stay to all her guests, always helpful, but also delicate. The refreshing lemonade with lemons from the garden the evening of our arrival, the linden tea, the delicious sweets for breakfast made one morning by Filitsa, the smile of her mother that welcomed us in Greek language … There were so many little kind gestures, not possible to describe, during our stay in this home that made us feeling wonderful! And what a pleasure was starting our day on the balcony of our studio where the views were just amazing! The nearest nice beach could be joint at 2-3 min by car (and one day we did this also by foot), same for the several nice family tavernas on the seafront for the evening meal, with very good food, fresh fish, nice service, local house wine and reasonable prices.||If you are not a fan of the impersonal, boring service of the big 4 and 5 stars hotels and are looking for charming, relaxing holidays, to experience the real Greek hospitality and enjoying in the same time wonderful sea views, clean water, picturesque green hills, neat villages with houses covered by flowers, you would for sure appreciate a lot the Pelion region and a stay in Felitsia apartments. Don’t expect a luxury, but the charm of the natural simplicity (that is typical for the whole region), with care to all small details. The photos in the new web site of Felitsia apartments could give you fair picture of the studios - quite comfortable and spacious enough, without exuberance, but extremely clean (the cleaning is done every day, bed linen and towels changed every 2-3 days …) ||The region and the coastline are one of the most beautiful we have ever seen (and we have been in many islands and resorts in Greece, France, Italy …), not spoiled yet by huge hotels or “hordes” of tourist. Ones of the beaches we prefered – Papa Nero, Plaka, Melopotamo, but there were also so many others. We were surprised that the 2nd week of June there was so little number of tourists (except for the long weekend), but this allowed us to enjoy even more the relaxing ambiance of the region. The amazing views of the mountains, the sea, the smell of the wild flowers in the region worth absolutely exploring Pelion driving at 25 km/g on the narrow roads between the villages. ||So … we decided to turn back in Pelion and Felitsia apartments again in September this year and, for sure, this will be not our last visit of this wonderful region!||Filitsa, Aleko, Filitsia’s mama – thank you for making our holidays so special!||||P.S. Another good surprise - we met lot's of people speaking English in the region, in shops and tavernas,...
Read moreWe were very warmly received by the hosts, who made us feel so welcome, that by the end of our stay, we felt like part of the family. They were extremely attentive and caring, always eager to help with anything guests may need, including tips and recommendations on places to visit and eat. ||The room was very clean, quiet, bright, with a large balcony, overlooking the most breathtaking view of the sea.||There was also an extensive library with books on the region which guests could borrow.||The garden was lovely, full of flowers and a sitting area where guests could drink their coffee. Ample parking was also available next to the hotel. ||We would highly recommend the hotel and will definitely return next year. It was a wonderful experience, made even more wonderful by our very...
Read moreI would highly recommend this family-owned apart-house to all those, who want a really restful holiday, like the fresh air and unspoiled nature. It lies on a hillside, in the middle of a luxuriant garden, just 3-15 minutes driving from most of the beaches around.||The apartments are very clean, well equipped, crispy white linen and towels frequently changed. The sight from rooms is absolutely magic, with a panoramic view to sunrise on Aegean See and the beaches bellow, associated with balsamic smell of flowers.||George, the host was extremely friendly, helpful and grandma' was very cute . ||An own car is recommended. The roads are steep and relatively narrow, but the end result well deserves this small effort.||Hopefully we will return back soon, with...
