As you can see from the bulk of my reviews, I spend most of my vacation time under water instead of up in the mountains. I'm willing to make an exception for Zagori, as it is a magical place; scores of villages caught out of time like butterflies trapped in amber. Plenty of sports (rafting, hiking, etc. and apparently serious bird watching which I can't speak to, considering I doubt I could distinguish a sparrow from robin). ||||The thing about traveling in relatively remote areas in Greece is that the accommodations tend to range from either (rarely) 1960's era almost Hiltons with indifferent service, or small inns, some quaint, but most (in my experience) a little too rustic in terms of basic amenities. Maybe charming for a couple of days, at most.||||Not so Monopatia. The closest comparison to Monopatia is with one of the small Aman resorts, before Aman became 100 plus room hotels. Except instead of an Asian theme, its has Greek/Italian theme. Stylish, in other words, but understated.||||I wasn't going to mention this....lots of acorn trees....lots of wild pigs in the forests....see where this is going? Truffles, in season, and the hotel can arrange for foraging...

This is unacceptable and the people have to say everywhere so the management from the Resort have to change the politic of the way they are managing the hotel.||Please give free coffees to your customers, 210 euros per room and are not enough?||Normally the customers that is the reason they book high "quality" hotels / resorts to have perfect and good quality of service like the breakfast.||Shame on you. This is not a Greek...
Read moreWe spent here 4 nights and every thing was perfect. The rooms are superb. Very modern and well equipped. We had room no. 5 which is a suite with great view and full privacy. Eeavn though you have to climb a bit up the hill. Breakfast is also very fine with fresh gradients. But the best advantage of this hotel is its owner Paris who made our vacation so successful. At the first day he gave us a map and helped us to plan our days. Every day we planned together the next one, he reserved plases for us with the rafting company, arranged for us lift to the end of Vikos gorge and drived us to the beginning of the trail, he knows every trail, restaurant and place in the area and love to share this knowledge with his guests. All that without any extra charge. We highly recommend this hotel and highly recommend Paris. Thank you for...
