This is a must do when travelling in Zagorohoria. A (not so) hidden gem in a small village with nothing much nearby. It’s a family run taverna and whatever you’ll order will definitely be worth it. Do not miss their handmade pies (chicken pie to die for) as well as their mushrooms and their leek and wild boar stew. All of the family is very attentive and very friendly; do listen to their recommendations on what and how much to order. Very affordable prices!

If you take the dictionary and search the word Greek taverna, a photo if this place should come up. It's a family run place where the emphasis is in fresh produce, traditional recipes and love for cooking. Everything we tried we loved and it was a group of 6 in which 5 are Greek, so we were not the typical tourists who try greek food for the first time. The service as well was very warm and they made us feel as if we were invited into their living room.

I was sceptical about the place at the first but when the food arrived I completely change my mind. Everything is very tasty and I would suggest to everyone to visit and try this delicious traditionalist food.

Με μία λέξη "Ο Κώστας".. ξεκινώντας απ' τον Κώστα ο οποίος θα σε υποδεχθεί πρώτος μόλις ανοίξεις την πόρτα κι αυτός την αγκαλιά του θα νιώσετε αυτομάτως ότι μπήκατε σε κάτι οικείο! Ζεστοί άνθρωποι με αγάπη για το φαγητό πρόθυμοι να σας ευχαριστησουν με τα πρώτης ύλης αγαθά κατευθείαν από τον κήπο τους και τα φρέσκα κρεατικά επιλεγμένα από ανθρώπους της περιοχής ! Θα σας κερδίσουν πρώτα με την ευγένεια και την εξυπηρέτηση τους κι ύστερα θα σας αποτελειώσουν με τα εκλεκτά παραδοσιακά φαγητά τους! Κατάλληλο μέρος τόσο για παρέες όσο και οικογένειες!

Ο κύριος Κώστας, η μητέρα του, η σύζυγος του και τα παιδιά. Μια οικογένεια που αγκαλιάζει με την παραγωγή τους σε πρώτη ύλη,τις γεύσεις τους και τη φιλοξενία τους. Άξιος διάδοχος ο νεαρός Γιάννης. Μην το χάσετε.
