Aura Hotel — Hotel in Zakynthos Municipality

I don’t know if these other reviews stayed in the same hotel as me I’d Imagen not. The first day we got there we got put in the top floor and asked to change as our beds were covered in paint and mattresses were very dirty, we them moved downstairs. The shower had to be held as it had no where to be hooked on too, our mates door didn’t shut and was constantly opened in and pressure was put on it, his rolling didn’t flush for 4 days was then fixed and broke again straight away. Our room wasn’t cleaned for 7 days neither were towels changed. The two blonde ladies one of them was very sweet and understanding to be fair to her ( smaller one ) the other one and the red headed cleaner were like a devil sent from hell were rude came bursting into my room at 6:00am telling me I’d stollen pillows? The hotel itself is very fun if your looking for a party everyone’s on the same page booked the shortest cheapest hotel in zante but apart from that I wouldn’t wish my worst Enemy to stay here. If anyone booms aura or it’s other hotels perkes hotel and apple hotel may god be with you inshallah. It was the dirtiest most unhygienic hotel I’ve ever seen I knew the reviews were bad but I promise you...

We arrived at the sister hotel (Apple Hotel) as we had been booked there for our holiday, the owner then told us that they declined our booking but the travel company had sent us here anyway. The owner, Pepe, and his business partner very kindly managed to find two rooms for our group in this hotel for two nights before we could be moved by our travel company, Pepe and his partner continued to make sure we was happy in our rooms and helped me, the lead passenger, with the booking company to ensure that we was able to find a good hotel after being messed around.

I cannot fault the customer service of Pepe, his partner and his team, they was all welcoming and accommodating to us in our situation. The rooms of the hotel are standard and as shown in the pictures however they are what you expect when you book, we was provided with towels and a roomy balcony. Ho soggiornato presso l'hotel Aura dal 16/08 al 23/08. Sono partito con aspettative molto alte visto le ottime recensioni che si trovano su internet, ma mi sento in dovere di dirvi che sono del tutto fasulle e che non rispecchiano per nulla la realtà... Partiamo dalle camere. Camere sporche, in una settimana non è MAI passato nessuno a dare una sistemata. Abbiamo fatto una settimana con gli stessi asciugamani e stesse lenzuola, cosa inaccettabile quando si è in un hotel. In camera eravamo in tre e, per poter passare dalla porta di ingresso al balcone (se sei al piano terra come successo a noi dovete stare attenti a lasciare fuori anche le minime cose. Ad un mio amico hanno rubato le scarpe perchè chiunque vi può accedere) bisognava camminare sopra i letti, perchè il pochissimo spazio che c'era per terra veniva occupato dai tre minuscoli borsoni che ci eravamo portati... Il bagno risulta al dir poco ridicolo. Non vi è la presenza del reggigetto, della tenda per evitare che l'acqua vada ad allagare completamente il bagno e per ultima cosa, non chiedo necessariamente di avere l'acqua dolce, perchè siamo su un'isola e quindi è normale che sia un po' salata, ma non così tanto. Qui sembrava di lavarsi (sia doccia che lavandino) con l'acqua del mare... Mi sembra di aver parlato abbastanza delle camere, anche se avrei ancora molto da dire ma cercherò di contenermi per evitare di cadere nel volgare. Parliamo della posizione... La posizione non è nemmeno troppo malvagia, ci troviamo a circa 25 minuti a piedi dalla movida. Allo stesso prezzo si trovano anche hotel molto più vicino alla movida e al mare. Siamo un po' fuori dal mondo ecco, l'unica cosa comoda è il porto che si trova a un 15 minuti di macchina, ma cosa ci vai a fare al porto? NULLA.

Piscina, sempre se così si puo' definire... Al limite dell'indecente. Appena arrivati abbiamo deciso di fare un bel bagnetto rigenerativo viste le 36 ore di viaggio che ci siamo fatti, ma già dal primo approccio ci accorgiamo dello schifo totale... Animali quali scarafaggi che circolano tranquillamente nel finto depuratore dell'acqua, perchè si, è finto, l'acqua che viene immessa nella piscina è quella della canna dell'acqua. La struttura della piscina risulta poi parecchio scivolosa a causa della mancata pulizia, sembrava ci fosse del muco per terra, in una decina abbiamo rischiato di lasciare la pelle ahaha (rido per non piangere).

Mi sembra di esser giunto alla fine, ci sarebbero ancora molte cose da dire, anche se di queste molte non ne trovo nemmeno una positiva... Pensateci moooooolto bene prima di prenotare. SCONSIGLIO...
