I couldn’t find any recent reviews on this hotel but took a chance as the price was very reasonable for my stay.||The staff were very friendly and the front desk is manned 24/7. Check in was simple, providing the 50c per night tax and passport number. Only 1 key for the room though, which was a shame as one of us stays out much later than the other! The front desk were happy to assist through.||First impressions were good as the room, although modest was clean and had working air conditioning that wasn’t to be ‘paid locally’ but part of the price. There was a TV but I was barely in the room so didn’t use and don’t know what channels it showed. There was a fridge which was great for storing water (6 bottles for 1€ 50cents in the shop opposite the hotel). 2 glasses were also provided.||The bathroom was clean and had hand soap and a small bottle of body wash. Towels were fluffy and very white! There was a hairdryer but I didn’t use it.||The toilet bin was emptied daily and sheets changed after 2 nights.||I didn’t make breakfast (it finished at 10!!) but I don’t think I missed much. It looked like cereal, toast, juice, coffee and eggs were the staple. There was a small cafe on site but it was June and not open.||The pool was clean and quiet. Plenty of sun beds available. The hotel is on a road so you hear cars going past but they soon become background noise.||The hotel is about 15 mins from Laganas beach and 10 from the strip with the main nightlife. Close enough to get to and from but far enough away to not hear all the screaming and shouting that you get if you stay in the thick of it. There’s also a bus stop right outside which is perfect if you want to explore the island.||This was a real bargain and I would definitely stay...
Read moreThis hotel was absolutely amazing. Stayed here for 9 days and it made me and my partners holiday special. Front desk is manned 24/7. Staff are always happy to see you and very welcoming and helpful. The pool is also amazing. Always quiet and peaceful with plenty of inflatables for everybody to use. Food and drink is not allowed from outside of the hotel to be eaten around the pool which is fair. But there is a bar open for food, drinks, ice cream etc at reasonable prices. Breakfast is great, a great range of different food to eat. The rooms are amazing too. Cleaned daily by extremely friendly cleaners. There are so many amenities at this hotel. Great places all around to sit and relax, pool tables, bookcase and plenty of sofas. Hotel is so clean including the rooms. Absolutely no complaints about anything!! Thank you so much to everybody at Olympia for making our stay so amazing. One of the best hotels I have...
Read moreStayed here for a week with a Thomas cook package. Firstly the hotel will take your passport and a 50€ deposit. You will have to pay for air con at 60€ a night. You can not take any food or drink from outside the hotel into the hotel, INCLUDING WATER. Breakfast was included but really not worth getting up for, it was vile. On checkout the hotel charged one of the boys €35 euros for a "dirty towel which they don't reuse". And they charged a different boy €10 for the same excuse and offered no explanations. The worst thing about the hotel though is the Thomas cook reps. They ripped you off from the beginning and when you stopped giving them money they stopped caring about you and didn't inform us of any of the events going on which we had paid for, disgusting from them.
If you want a lads holiday go to Ayia...
