Borsalino studios & apartments — Hotel in Zakynthos Municipality

Borsalino is situated 10 minutes from the strip and 15 minutes from the beach.Been coming here for over 20 years.||Nice clean apartments overlooking a very clean pool. Fantastic hosts. Yiannis and Elenor deal with any problems in their stride. Elanor is chief cook and provides excellent meals. Yiannis has 2 boats and runs cruises and fishing trips.||This year Covid hit Zante with many cancellations.My wife and I and friends were careful and followed all the required rules. In fact we felt much safer in Zante than at home! Only went out twice at night during the fortnight. Went to the Bocca restaurant on the Kalamaki Road. Great food and well looked after.The other nights we stayed in enjoying Elanors Beef Stifado, Lamb Kleftico, Liver and Onions, Prawn stir frys, rack of Lamb,roast Chicken etc.||Laganas was deserted due to lack of tourists. Feel that the British press caused much of this due to inaccurate reports. Very sad. I hope that the people of Zante can recover from the economic disaster.||Subject to next years situation we will be going to the Borsalino again. Give it a try. You will enjoy it.||Yiannis. I have just returned from a month long stay at the borsalino we stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment the rooms are spacious basic & clean the bins were emptied daily towels & sheets changed twice weekly but more if needed you only have to ask |Elena & her son Pedro’s run the pool bar the food is fabulous nothing to much trouble they go out if their way to please very relaxed atmosphere yiannis Elena’s husband runs a fishing trip business which is very popular with repeat guests the grounds are kept immaculate |The property is set amongst olive groves and fruit trees it isn’t far from the busy main strip but far enough not to hear all the noise |Plenty bars restaurants and supermarket close by all in all you couldn’t wish for more |Thank you to Elena yiannis Pedro’s & Dennis for a...

Elena and yiannis are the best most welcoming people... i felt so welcome from the min i arrived. Hanging out with them at the cafe by the pool. ||They couldnt do enough for me. Thank u both of you. ||If you know laganus you know it can be noisy by the beach. Ive been here 5 times and this is the calmest hotel ive been to... i even checked out of one once close to the beach because of the noise. Borsalinos is calm and relaxed. Its €6 taxi to the beach or a 20 min walk... its perfect for calm and relaxing. I stayed in a 2 bed apartment and it was really big and clean. The cafe sells good cafe food.||Not one single complaint. Highly recommended thank u yianni and elena...
