Diamond-Suites — Hotel in Zakynthos Municipality

Wasn’t easy to find it, little bit of Google maps fault, corrected now :) Look for the 2nd sign, see attached, which is really old but valid in order to park. Place is nice but owners are not trying anymore to keep it in a good shape in my opinion. Giving middle rating because it’s not worth the price - there is also an extra charge for bad sheets and place was not cleaned for a while which is not acceptable for the price in my opinion. Bar at the pool is open from 3pm so make sure you have water for drink the next morning, otherwise you will need to climb the hills with the car to find the market. I would advise owners to add at least one bottle of water in the fridge and maybe some ice because it’s not easy to drive in the beginning till you learn the roads… End of August 2025 was OK, quite if you prefer that and the view is really nice. The location will force you to drive though which is a good thing if you are planning to explore...

We had a private villa (ground floor only) for one night which was adjacent to neighbouring villas. It was clean and spacious in a traditional style.||Personally the traditional look with beams made it feel dark. The bathroom was simplistic and a bit shabby. No window in the bathroom and just a window vent.||The two rooms were spacious and clean.|Kitchen diner was a good size and with a working TV.||The kitchen was traditional but some of the utensils and dishes were unclean - so we didn’t use them. ||The communal pool area is quite nice with adequate seating and the only place where we found that we could get data. Positives: They are picturesque villas on a mountain side with traditional stone houses and beautiful pools from the pool deck. The owners are friendly and accommodating. Negatives: You definitely need a car to access. Individuals must be in good shape to climb the steep, narrow stairs to the 2nd floor bedrooms of the villas. This is definitely not a 4 or even 3 star property as the amenities are very basic - very poor quality mattresses, linens, etc. Tiny shower stall.
