Jupiter Hotel — Hotel in Zakynthos Municipality

I enjoyed my 1-week stay here. Clean rooms, a few small or with weird bathtubs, but staff is very friendly and they offer to change rooms if you don't like something (if there are any available rooms). AC is 6E/night if you buy for the whole week and does it's job. Free WiFi only in reception area, but very slow (don't expect much access to telecom facilities, both internet and phone reception seem to be pretty bad on the whole island - hopefully, you came here to get away from your phone :) ). WiFi in rooms is 2 or 3E/hour I think, but you're better off using your roaming data honestly, if you really need the internet access. All-inclusive food pretty basic, sometimes repetitive (especially breakfast which was almost the same thing every day), a few horrible dishes, a few great, but mostly mediocre, edible stuff, exactly what you would expect giving the price. All-inclusive drinks are all no-name cheap brands, of course, but are decent, not as bad as you'd expect. Alcohol (beer, wine, spirits) and cocktails included. If you're picky, you can buy better stuff from the bar or local supermarkets which are very close to the hotel and have good prices. About 10min walk to the beach (a very nice beach by the way). There are also a lot of places to eat/drink close by. You can also rent cars/quads/bikes/motorbikes/boats from nearby and go explore the island. They also have ping-pong and pool tables at the hotel + a few arcade game places nearby + a minigolf course about 15mins away, if you're into games. Hotel pool is okay, a bit small but never really felt crowded, so it's decent. But the beach is close and very nice so I didn't really use the pool, honestly. Stayed as a guest for 10days we had first 5days with Luke warm or cold water for showers and safe didn't work for 3 days untill we asked them to come to room and show us after numerous complaints about having to carry our money and passport round with us the bar staff were really lovely and a couple of the restaurant staff smiled with a welcome but others just ignored guest and had miserable faces food was ok always something nice to eat but need more waiting staff as we had to wait quiet a few times for plates and cutlery room was cleaned every day the Maid service was very good and hard working public areas very clean.all pool areas very clean pool bars good friendly staff didn't like having to pay to get towel to shower with after checking out of room not what we expected of a 4 star hotel they need to improve these things g it was more like 3 star in part dining room is too small for amount of guests and the al la cart was a joke didn't bother with it as it was just a glass room with no atmosphere and had glass windows all round would of been better with blinds up.one last thing its actually the Karras Grande resort...

just had 2 weeks in the jupiter and really cannot find too much wrong with the facilities and staff .the rooms were very clean and the hotel staff were friendly .the only criticism i have is the dining room needs more organising and could be extended into the reception area as it gets a bit crouded at times .the layout of the dining area also needs looking at as there seems no system is in place .apart from that the food was ok basic but edible .you get what you pay for and i think this hotel is value for...
