Wow. Where do you start? I have travelled all over the world and I’ve always looked for the perfect restaurant. I think I’ve found it. You look for the perfect setting. They’ve got it. You look for ambience. They’ve got it. You look for a quality menu, with local food that reflects where you are. They’ve got it. You look for an owner and his family who know their audience and what they want. They’ve got it. From the moment you walk in this place , from the front of house Romeo who will show you to a table with plenty of Greek charm you automatically feel relaxed. And that’s what makes a good restaurant, relaxation because you’re on holiday. And the food is excellent, and reasonably priced. The owner Freddy takes your order and you can see instantly that he’s a professional and cares about what he does. And then your order arrives, and boom you taste the quality of the food and you’re hooked. We had seafood, traditional Greek lamb, Gyros, Souvkaki you name it they nail it here. But that’s what you look for. A great location, traditional food, a fantastic atmosphere and a local who knows what he’s on about and how to look after people. And the icing on the cake? Tuesday Greek night. Traditional dancing, music, fire dancing and a bit of plate smashing, with no extra charge. But seriously this place is better than good. Freddy and his team aren’t happy unless you walk out of here with a belly full of good quality food and a great drink inside you. But you also walk out with a big grin on your face. And you know what? You go once and they remember you. And they greet you like an old friend. You’re instantly a brother from another mother. A part of the family. Which is a very rare thing indeed. We ate there for the first time when we arrived, and it was a great experience. So we ate there every day. I Tried out other restaurants (for breakfast or for a drink, ..), but it was the best. Great and big portions of food, just for my taste. Excellent spices, not too much, not too little. If it was only just that, I would also go there all the time, but there was another great reason: the host.

If you travel to Greece, nowadays it is hard to find a traditional greek feeling. They are all friendly, but here, I felt that the guests are important, and warmly welcomed. The host remembered us on the second visit, said some words in our language (and also welcomed us, when we said thanks in greek). On the first day he gave us a glass of sangria as a gift, and after every visit, he surprised us with something. When he saw the new engagement ring, he toasted us with a gift of champagne. It was a great experience that we didn't get at any other places we were at.

And paid attention to details, for example the champagne had strawberry on it, the sangria had orange on it, and tasted and looked so great, because of these details.
