Read moreI booked this hotel on a whim during from 20th to the 30th September 2024. I went with my son and with it only being a 3 star i did not expect too much. The rooms were basic but comfortable but the stay was one of the best I have ever had. My son only had a couple of months left to live the lady behind the counter put us in rooms next to each other and even though the wireless was only meant to last one week they let it run without charge for the whole 10 nights. Pedro was so nice and had a wonderful sense of humour he lightened a hard time for us. We got to know the other people staying there grouping up at meal times and around the pool. One evening my son had run out of his anti clotting medication which caused him much pain I ran around in a panic when the manager realised he helped me procure more for him. Sadly my son passed 9 weeks later and I wanted to take my youngest son there to walk in his brother's steps but I can't at the moment as it is too sad but as soon as I can I intend to return to this hotel. I wish to say thank you to all the staff for there pleasant and friendly manner. If you are not expecting 5 star service for a 3 star price I highly recommend giving this hotel a try. Once...
Read moreWell the perkes palace, where should I begin with this one. After one of our board of directors saw two very promising reviews on this fine resort he decided it would be the next destination for the A-team on tour. A full starting eleven of us landed at the perkes all though two of us had to be loaned out to another hotel, after a very unfortunate incident occurred in the first 24 hours, which the whole of the A-team would like to apologise for. Certain members of our team can take things a bit too far. Nevertheless no grudges were held to the rest of us by the perkes palace. If you are looking to book a lads and girls holiday this is the place if you are really coming to do Zante properly. Yes the beds feel like prison cell mattresses, yes you might end up covered in bed bug bites but that’s all part of the Zante culture. The heroic figure that guards the palace at night goes by the name Fuego, slide him 20 euro and you can have any friend you met on the strip stay over in your room for a sleepover. What happens in the perkes stays in the perkes anything goes, just don’t spray the fire extinguishers and make a whole block of the hotel have to leave their rooms because they...
