I arrived at 10pm, but due to strikes, I had to spend the night in a hotel and decided to stay at Intercity, as I had been there before. A nice gentleman checked me in and helped take my bags upstairs. I said my boyfriend would try to get through in the middle of the night after the road cleared from the strike. He put my boyfriend’s name on the back of the registration card and said he would be given a key. When I realized there was no refrigerator in my room, I told the man I had brought seafood empanadas from New York and didn’t want them to get ruined. He said they could be stored in the employee lounge fridge. He put my room number of 408 on the bag. The next morning, my boyfriend called me to say the woman at the front desk wouldn’t let him up and that she was too busy to talk to me through his phone and to call her directly through what’s app, since there were no phones in the room. I decided not to go down to get my boyfriend, but rather check out. I went downstairs and asked the woman where my registration card was, she showed it to me. I pointed to where my boyfriend’s name had been written and asked why she wouldn’t let him up. She said she wasn’t told. Then, I requested my bag of food. She couldn’t find it and asked what it looked like, I said, “green plastic bag with “408” written.” She confessed to letting other guests in the employee lounge to get “their” items and must have taken mine too! $103 of food was stolen! The woman is Udia Solota and should be fired! I have proof from my receipt of purchase, my flight, and my hotel reservation that I speak the truth. The woman gave me $100, but it wasn’t about the money, but rather my 93 year old grandmother waiting for something that never arrived...

The only one that helped in the situation was Ruth she was the one working and dealing with everything that was going at the front desk. We booked a day to stay and rest until next days fight. The room has low water pressure 1st floor(?) the tv wasn’t working, the bed sheet Grisel the one that’s supposed to clean the rooms left dirty sheets and had a horrible attitude problem the lamps wasn’t working and the smell of not clean . No customer service at all. Ruth had to deal with everything and everyone arriving with no help. My question is if the hotel is not ready to accommodate people that are coming to visit or work in Honduras why is it the hotel available? Is a beautiful place San Pedro de Sula but this owner needs to change staff and remodel. Would never recommend because a 1 day stay was a nightmare. They gave us another room and in this other room had no hot water and no pressure at all. It took them 3 hours from the time we got there to be settle in our room didn’t go anywhere else because no other hotel was available close to airport. Normally I don’t write reviews because of situations that might cause people to loose jobs but this one is a...
