My wife and I were staying in that Hotel in August. We found the hotel over their website, which was looking nice and promised a lot (which the hotel couldn't keep at the end).||||We arrived quite late in the evening (around 10 pm). It was quite hard to find the hotel, although Heviz is not a big city, as the hotel was located in a residential area. Being without car in that hotel will keep you walking half an hour every day to the center.||||First we noticed: There are not enough parking spaces for the hotel guests. As we entered the hotel, we were kindly welcomed by our hosts and as we were hungry, we decided to have dinner in the hotel... which was a mistake. Basically, in a 4 (?) star hotel we thought that dinner at least would be ok. But: Every meal was heated in a microwave... which didn't seem to have much capacity, as it took more or less 1 hour until we finally got our main dish... besides the long time, the food was really not good (and heavily overpriced, as we learned the next day).||||The rooms which looked nice on the pictures were not so nice taking a more detailed glimpse. Actually, the quality of the furniture in the rooms was poor, especially the bed: the linen was ultra thin (which did not give us too much comfort on cleanliness), we eventually found some hairs from the former guests of our room. The tiny bathroom was also not tidy. But the real nightmare was actually the very, very thing walls. At 4 am the guests around us started to wake up and you could literally hear everything through the walls. It was not possible to get any sleep after this... as we went there for some relaxing (what other intention would you have to go to Heviz?), this was the moment were we decided to move immediately.||||At checkout and the notice that would not prolongate our stay (which was intended to be 3 nights in total), the manager gave us the bill - this is when we saw the price of the dinner... which was absolutely out of range for the quality served. We had our morning coffee (not even breakfast) and left immediately for another hotel (Rogner Spa - see my other review). We didn't even look for the wellness area.||||Summary: St. Martin absolutely does not meet the standard you would expect for the money you will pay there. If you come for relaxation - be sure that you are the only guests or the others will keep you up all night long. Don't have dinner there! I cannot tell about the spa, but if it should meet the quality of the rest of the hotel, you better beware as well.||There are not many reasons I can believe going there again... maybe if you just have a one night stop, but then again, the price of the room is just...
Read moreNot recommended!||It was my mistake - first time I had not checked a hotel on Tropadvisor - just booked on Booking -BIG mistake.||Only 3-4 parking lots are build for the hotel - full on arrival. You can park on the sreet if you find free place.||They were storing non-funcitonal mobile air conditioning units in our Superior apartment (two of them) - it was like a storage room for broken star wars droids. Also the stairhouse and the hallway were full of broken moble AC units (4-5 of them just laying around).||The Superior room was not clean! Breadcrums (or something like that) on the floor - lots of them. The toilet was not clean - a nice brown line in the toilet if you know what I mean.||The minibar has 2 small beers in it - it is a literally an empty fridge - not cooling on arrival - so you can have warm beers if you want.||The sauna was not working - when we were complaining they said ok they will tell about that to the management - but it wont be fixed during the weekend (or whenever).||The outdoor pool is not filled with water - however they are advertising it.||The dinner was quite dissapointing. A tasteless chicken cooked with vegetables and a tasteless pork cooked with vegetables, also boilded potatoe announced as steak potatoes. The spongcake was just like sponge - but without any sweetness.||Shame.||Just keep looking for an other hotel - anything - even without any stars - you will be...
Read morePaid for a 2-nights exclusive wellness weekend for 2 persons, which was sold as "Honeymoon package" including welcome champaigne for the couple, two romantic dinners with candle light, a bowl of fruits in the room, etc. ||||What it was in reality:||- Upon arrival room was not ready. After settling in found that there is only one towel for the two of us in the bathroom. When asked, we got another towel which was a tiny one, really annoying to use after shower. The bathroom was not really clean.||- We got our "welcome" drink following two requests from our side, same with the fruit...||- Car park is free, as there is no place to park!!! No parking lot, one can use the street parking if space is available (was not).||- Free wifi - as there was hardly any sign, my mobile could pick it up for a second and then lose it.||- Food is okay but not exclusive at all, not like in other 4 star hotels.||- Staff is nice but very few: one waiter, one receptionist, one old cleaning lady...no comment. No wonder they cannot maintain the hotel.||- The wellness is pretty but small and towels provided are tiny (which are in fact torn parts of towels, not even cut by scissors).||||I could go on and on, lacking the nice experience. It was a huge disappointment!!!||||I would never recommend...
