Traveling for fun and stopped Keszthely for a night. The Guest House Moritz was a short tip back in time where hotels were family owned and operated. The room was clean, neat and comfortable. We enjoyed our small balcony and the tranquil setting of the lodging. Close to the lake and just a bit further from the palace and city center. Train station and bus station was just a five minute walk. Know that the rooms may not have air conditioning so if you need the room extremely cold it may be an issue for you. Read moreWe stayed for 2 nights and found the location terrific. About 10 min walk from the train station, 10 min into town centre and 5 min from the Lake. We stayed in a ground floor apartment which was adequate. There was a fridge and microwave in the room but no other kitchen ware. The bed was comfortable but the towelling bottom sheet made it very warm on a balmy evening. The breakfast consisted of plates of cheese, meats, eggs, bread, juice, yoghurt and tinned fruit with cofee/tea. Good value for 5€...with little other nearby alternatives. Read moreThey do not accept credit cards, so be prepared. The rooms are spacious and nice, but with no AC (they have blinds though). The shower is clean, but could do with a bit of renewal. The TV is only in Hungarian. The place overall is nice, in a quiet part of town.
